Tar Pit Zac, Dark Star Zilean, and Rock Candy Taliyah Skin Concepts

Hey!

There are just some skin concepts that I have thought up that, personally (and from a character point of view), feel like would be extremely fitting for some characters as well as for the skins themselves. These are also picked for some characters who either only have the skin they got when they were introduced, haven't gotten a skin in a long while, or just feels fitting. I don't have any art of these since I don't personally feel I am at a level to do these skin concepts proper justice, but I will go into a large amount of detail on the abilities and such to try and make up for that. Without further ado, lets get into the first of the concepts.

Prehistoric Zac: Yep, Prehistoric Zac, (or possibly even Tar Pit Zac), is a skin concept in which Zac's usual green self has been changed into a slick blob of black tar. For this skin, his main coloring would be, of course, the black of the tar, but he also can have prehistoric bones belonging to a variety of creatures that are on his body to give it form. For example, imagine Zac with rib bones of a dinosaur wrapping around the upper chest, and possibly even around his waist as well. he could even have a full on animal skill on his head from an animal that had been trapped in the tar pit, and bones sprouting out from his shoulders to make him really feel like a tar pit monster. He could also have spikes going down his back, since his back is often seen by the player playing as him. These can be very pronoun, as if a spine was showing, along with possibly even having some of the ribs that go around the front of him continuing around to his back. His eye color in this skin can be all white, which could provide a very nice contrast to the mostly dark colored body, and fit well with the color of his bone accents.

His passive blobs could even have bones in them in a line of spikes, taller spikes in the front leading to smaller spikes in the back.

His Ability Passives, the blobs that appear on the ground around him whenever he hits someone with an ability, can be simple pools of dark tar that also has smaller bones scattered throughout it. these could also have a small bubbling effect as they rest on the ground.

His Q and W are pretty much just his body stretching to do the attacks.

His R can be him flattening into an entire tar pit (with some of the bones going to the outer rim creating a sort of frame), which would really fit seeing as it slows enemies in it.

His Death Animation could show the bones on him begin to fall off, the tar pit that is his body drying up as he slowly stops all movement, him becoming pale at the same time and, eventually, crumbing apart to the ground in a pile of cracked pieces of tar and bones.

His Backing Animation can be him spreading his tar down slightly to cover an area around his feet in a rough circle. That tar then begins to bubble like a tar pit does, and as it concludes Zac closes his eyes, and at the moment the channel finished his whole body sinks down into the pool of tar, the same pool that appears in base at this exact time, (or when he respawns), where he rises out of it in a dramatic fashion.

For his splash art, he could be rising from the tar pit, (with the tar being sticky and strings of tar connecting him in some parts, such as the arms, to the pool he is in), and a variety of bones not only scattered around him appearing stuck in the tar pit, but also with him sporting his bones that he wears on himself in game. As he is rising from the pit, there can be a variety of plants in the background of the skin that give the overall splash art a prehistoric vibe, with maybe even some silhouettes of dinosaurs seen in the background. If this splash art were to be one that moves, then there could be movement from his arms as he appears to be rising slightly from the pit. The pit can also have a bubbling effect to it, with steam from it also rising around Zac. The trees and Dinosaurs in the background can also be moving, (such as every once in a while the silhouette of one will cross between some trees or fly across the sky), to make it feel more alive.

Dark Star Zilean: It has definitely been quite a little while since Zilean has gotten a new skin, and when I looked at him with the Dark Star skin line in mind, I really saw some strong potential in not only a skin, but in a way for this character to become a bit more popular than he is now. The idea for the skin is that his body is of a spectral dark star being, with his cloak having what looks to be space itself sewn into it, the colors for this having either gold or silver to show accents, and the overall color being a deep purple. His clock on his back can have a frame that is made of rings, similar to the rings of saturn, (this once again tying into the theme for the skin of him utalizing the black hole to bend gravity to his needs), and a black hole in the center of it with particles that appear like stars and galaxies going in a circular motion to a side, gravitating to the center of the black hole. His face for the skin can have a face similar in style to that of Aurelion Sol, with his gold or silver accents going around it in some way. This skin would also work with how he is always floating in game as he moves around. With this skin, that can be seen as he is using the black hole to control gravity itself, allowing him to levitate.

His Passive can be a purple line with some stars appearing on it, the stars going from Zilean to the player he leveled up.

His Q can be a black hole in the center, and the indicator for when it will explode on the ground can be a light purple at first, and a ring of dark purple can start at the outer rim, growing towards the center until it explodes right as the dark purple ring hits the center.

His W can make a burst of purple appear at his feet in a small radius just around him, as well as a small black hole in the center making it seem like he has pulled time from the hole itself.

His E, when cast on an enemy, can be a purple particle effect moving not only around the enemy, but also in a downward motion to make it appear as if he is using the power of a black hole to make gravity have a stronger effect on the individual who is targeted. When cast on an ally, it would be the opposite effect, with the purple going in an upward motion around an ally, giving the appearance that he is lessening the impact of gravity on them.

His R can show what looks like capsules of black holes circling the ally. If the ult is popped and the ally is revived, then the moment they run out of health, (enter the revive), the black hole capsules can shatter to show that it has been used. If the ally doesn't die while cronoshift is active on them, then the capsules can simply fade away into nothingness.

His Death Animation can be Dark Star Zilean collapsing onto his back, the black hole in the center of his back becoming unstable, and he gets sucked into it.

His Backing Animation could be him making the black hole that is usually behind him float around him in front of him, it growing in size slightly as its gravity gets stronger, Zilean begins to float up higher off the ground that he passively is, and goes into the center of the black hole. He can reappear at the nexus by exiting out of that black hole he just flew into, and re-assuming his normal position in game.

His Splash Art can show him in a dramatic, very grand pose, possibly straight in front of him with him looking directly at the viewer of the splash art. There is great potential for dramatic lighting from the stars and galaxies circling the black hole around him, as well as with the rings that circle the rim of the black hole and galaxies. In his hands in the splash art he can also have black holes, with these further emphasizing the idea of him being able to bend these to his needs.

The last skin I have for you is Rock Candy Taliyah: This skin could present Taliyah as her usual rocky self, but with her rocks being colorful, varying in color as she casts her abilities. Her character design in this skin can show her in a lighter attire, with a pale pink cloak that has a puffy cotton candy like lining. The outfit can also be decorated with all sort of candies, suck as licorice around the sleeves, gumdrops on the shoulders, and frosting for detailing. Her hair can be in a bit of a slowing fashion, with it also being made of a different colored frosting, with accents of colored rocks scattered either all over her hair, or in specific parts to create accents. I do understand that this skin may be a bit unlikely to be made in the near future due to Taliyah recently receiving the SSG skin, though I things its a good enough concept to finally bring to light.

Her abilities are all rather similar in this skin.

Her passive could be her riding on a set color rock, and a variety of other colored rocks underneath. (Such as her riding on a green rock, with red, blue, and yellow rocks underneath)

Her Q, W, and E can consist of her throwing out specifically colored rocks, with each ability having a set color for the rocks, which can make it easy to read for opponents when they see what color has appeared.

Her R in this skin I imagine would be a real spectacle, with it consisting of a large variety of colors of rocks that is not only a mixture of all of the colors used in her casual abilities, but also with some that are new and specifically thrown into the mix for the R so that it doesn't have the exact same colors as the other abilities.

Her Death Animation could show her backing up a step in a shocked expression before turning into rock candy starting at the feet going up her body, with her shattering to the ground a moment after she has been consumed by the candy.

Her Backing Animation can consist of her kneeling to the ground all around her, and in a circle around her pillars of rock candy grow as she channels her back, them growing throughout it, and in the last few seconds before it ends some gingerbread people, similar to the ones seen in Candy King Ivern, start to peek around the pillars at Taliyah, looking around as if debating if its safe to approach her. I feel as though this would be a nice touch, seeing as in Ivern's candy skin he essentially killed the gingerbread people, having someone who has a candy theme that doesn't kill them would be a nice touch.

Her Splash Art can show Taliyah sporting her new outfit as she stands with her arms spread out to her sides, pillars of colorful, (and maybe partially translucent), rock candy. she can be in an enviornment that looks as though it just came from a wold that is made entirely of candy.

I hope these skins are something that is interesting for you guys, and I really hope to get some feedback on what other people think of these ideas.

Thanks for reading!

The Prehistoric Zac is actually an amazing concept. I would do the recall in a more humorous manner though. I'd have him assume the position he does in his base skin recall, but when he lifts his arm, small bones and skeletons fall out of him, and he frantically stoops to scoop them back up and put them back inside him. That, or he can belch like a tar bubble popping, and accidentally spit up some bones that he kicks aside or collects and swallows again. I think the possibilities are endless.
