Yes, this would be a must. All random should mean all random.

sounds neat

even though ARAM is kinda RNG with the champ pics. It's heavily influenced on who gets the better champ picks.

But it would be fun to have a serious queue for ARAM I know there's competitive aram customs out there.

Never going to happen, Nor should it happen. The game mode is not viable to provided fair competitive play nor would rankings reflect total skill.

Why not? RNG is only an issue in the short-term. Player skill would be the largest factor for rankings in the long run.

As the system is now, All you would need to do is make an account and purchase the champions that excel on the map. I know you all say they would have to make all champions available, but they do not. If they did make a rank mode for aram, they have no obligation to make champions that people have strived to purchase available to those who have yet to buy. So RNG does become an issue in the longer picture, when taking the system as it is now and not what you want it to be.

I agree with you that the current system would be too easy to exploit for ranked. However, none of that stuff is intrinsic to ARAM. Although Riot has no obligation to make all champions available, there's also no innate flaw in ARAM's gameplay that makes it unsuitable for competitive play. There's nothing forcing the system to stay how it is now.

And personally I'm not a fan of making all champs available. It'd give ARAM players very little reason to ever buy champs. My preferred solution would be to combine the individual champ pools of everyone in a particular match. Still prevents players from exploiting the randomness, yet doesn't remove the purpose of owning champs.
