Eternals: good idea, terrible execution.

Eternals let you showcase your accomplishments in League, tracking both unique and general gameplay milestones on a per-champion basis.

Yeah... sounds great, but it isn't really. First, those achievements are... uncreative. Achievement one: hit someone with X ability, and then kill them right after. Or successfully chain together a couple abilities. Slightly creative, but not really. Achievement two: kills/takedowns. Achievement three: CC/damage. This is just stupid. Seriously?

Second, those uncreative achievements cost money. If they were for free, well, wow, they are the next big thing after Runes Reforged. Showing off your skills with a champion in-game? Nice! But... buuuuut... these basic stat trackers and combo recorders cost money. If the Eternals were slightly more creative, like what this person suggested for Teemo, then I'd throw some money at Riot to make them go away. But we've got basic stat trackers. Remember the stat tracker in the old client? I don't, I started playing in season eight. But some people were around for it.

What I suggest for Eternals is this. Paid Eternals: I can deal with that, but only if they're really cool. However, I still want to show off my lifetime kills/takedowns. So... why don't you make some free? Three free ones, that are the mundane stats, and then three paid ones that are very creative and are the pinnacle of every champion's careers(Teemo getting a solo kill from xxxx units away, Veigar stunning 2+ champions with his Event Horizon cage, Blitz grabbing someone who used flash after he activated Q). If the three paid ones were really cool, then I would probably get them, even if they were more expensive than they are now. 850 RP to get a kill counter or ability combo tracker is stupid. 1350 RP for cool achievements I can use to strike fear into my enemies' eyes(or not)? I'm down for that.

That's what I think about the Eternals. I haven't finished placements, I haven't been playing for however long, but this is my view on it.
