Malmer, the mantle miner. An idea of a gold depended champion, who works as jungle and top laner. Images only for ground idea of how he should look like.

**SHORT VERSION **

Passive - Gold fever For every 10 coin Malmer got, he will gain 0.1 armor and magic resist, limited to 5000 gold.

Q - Dig! Move underground 500 on 1 second delay, knock up and damage enemies which is in the way.

W - Mad Mining Get 2.0 attack speed for a short duration, dealing 50% bonus damage.

E - Smelling gold Debuff an enemy. Enemy champions will be slowed and Malmer faster. Minions and monsters will grant extra gold to Malmer when killed or killed by others. Killing a basic minion with his ability will half the cooldown.

R - Under ground Hide underground where you're basically immune for nearly anything beside true sight and some area of effect abilities. You can't attack, but you can move for at short range and invisible to enemies. Using abilities, clicking on Ult again or waiting 40 seconds will break this ability.

LONG VERSION Lore: For hundreds of years, humans have searched the earth underground, risking hundreds of lives, to find the all wanted and glittery noble metal: Gold. Endless waves of people have left their homes in hope of finding luck and happiness in the deep dark mines in the Ironspike Mountains, many driven mad, smashed by tunnel collapse or left dying of inhaling too much coal dust. But deeper down at the earth’s core lives something than doesn’t mind the darkness of the mould, a creature that can survive the deadly gasses in the outer core. It’s Malmer, a kobold who got known for breaking through the mantle and emerges to the surface. Long ago, Malmer got sick and tired of the gems and diamonds, which his fellow kobolds ate for survival. He wanted something else, which he one day found during his digging, a really rare material here at the earth’s outer core; gold. The smell of it, Malmer did never forget that smell, it had a sweet edge, a delicious tasteful edge. He ate it, and felt good as ever, but the curse, which lies in gold, followed by it, greed, Malmer wanted more. The travel began that day, digging up and up, searching, hunting, seeking for that shiny metal. One day he broke up to the surface, and found the world of Runeterra, a world with possibilities and wonders, a world driven by gold.

E – Smelling gold Range: 400 cost: 50 cooldown: 20/19/18/16/14 "Kobolds are famous for their excellent noses for finding gems, but Malmer's nose only smells gold." ACTIVE: Give an enemy unit the debuff: “Smelling of gold.” The debuff will last until the enemy unit is 2000 range away from Mamler. Enemy champions will be slowed by 20% and Mamler will gain 60/65/70/75/80 bonus speed when going towards the enemy champion. Enemy minions and monsters will give Malmer 25/28/32/36/40% extra coins whenever Malmer kills it himself or the unit dies by others. Killing basic minions with his ability halves the cooldown.

R – Down Under (ult) Range: Self cost: 80 cooldown: 25/20/15 "The surface can be a dangerous place, sometimes for it's best going underground when one's life is in danger." ACTIVE: Malmer goes underground the battlefield. While buried, Malmer is unable to attack, immune to knock ups, unit collision, basic attacks, abilities considered as projectiles and can only be harmed by certain area of effect abilities. He can only move around for a short range (172 range), and the spot where he is buried is invisible for enemies. If Malmer’s spot is under True sight, he can be attacked like a normal enemy unit. Malmer can still channel abilities (not recall), but when any abilities are used, it will make him come up from the ground. This state will be broken too if Malmer clicks on R again, or after 40 seconds.

Upon using Mad Mining “AH! Hahahahah!” “The pick is lose, boys!” “Like dynamite!” “Rocks to dust!” “mine! Mine! MINE!!” “Oh it’s itching in my left hand!” “Time to start mining!” “Clickity click!” “Oh, that sweet crispy melody!” “Prepare for the rush!”

Strategy: You can already guess that Malmer is an late gamer, a tanky one of the kind. With Malmer, you could make surprising ganks with Q and flash combined, reaching 950 range distance under short time period. Then chasing enemies with E and then end them with W. Especially E “Smelling gold” makes Malmer a good jungler, gaining lots amounts of gold fast, and take down alone going champions quickly. During team fights, Malmer will probably do best passive until the fight really breaks lose. Malmer can then single out a target and go ult when things get’s too heated up, and use his Q to make an escape. Ranged champions and stun abilities will be able to keep Malmer at bay, which makes him really unwelcome at bottom lane, and somewhat middle lane. 1.5 ranged stuns will be enough to break his E, as you just have to outrun him 2000 range to make the debuff go away (the distance between the first mid tower to the second)
