It's not easy handling a job handed to you by a higher up. But it takes real depth to grasp the finer points of it. Those fine points involve the weight on my shoulders handed to me by Lord Swain. If it was not for him, I would not be the kind of man I am as you see.
Another fun fact; I didn't just train to be an assassin. What was entrusted to me in faith was a special relic they had found during an exploration through the shadow isles. It's a fine edge at the least, but its more 'unique' backstory is what pulled me to it. That's a story for another time however.
What you came to see is the death of a nobleman: A man who had actual dealings with demacian spies after I've shadowed him for some time. It's an easy thing shadowing a target, when you can say you were their literal shadow all the way to the wench they were visiting at the pub the same night later. Fine girl she was... hair red as the setting sun and eyes honed like daggers.
Of course I had let him take his time with her till the end. He deserved that much before his demise. I could only gaze upon him as he slept away in bed. The girl had gone away to leave him to stew in his own aftermath: How fitting.
It's a precarious thing, the work I do. Of course, not much is said when it all comes down to it. A job is a job, and traitors...are traitors.
All that is left is to take my time while he sleeps. The night is always a good hour to handle all endeavors. The calming sharpness of the night air, the glistening shimmer of the starry sky, and the firm brisk darkness that comes with it.
He, however, won't be seeing the sunrise that comes after...
A job done, and a stain made, I take my leave through the corner of the room. The shadows seemed to have taken kindly to me since my obtaining this unique weapon. Never have I felt at home before in the dark before then. I suppose some unique traits come with time to appreciate them.
As I leave out into the open street, I leave no trace of my presence behind me. To go through the shadows with such relative grace is quite the ease for my capability. But the curse for such is solitude beyond the norm. A shame, I would have wanted to see that woman again very much...
I think now is a good time to explain the sword. This blade was held in storage within the vaults of Noxus for some time. Swain had felt it was time for me to obtain my rightful status as his 'shadow'. Would you want to let down the man who found potential in you?
Upon grabbing it, the blade held tight to my hand, assaulting me with horrific images that would drive any normal being mad. When my moment of insanity passed, I awoke to find the chambers made dark and barren; only copper red painted on the walls that remain of the acolytes that were with me then.
What made me calm in the end was how it all went down. So quiet...So subtle. Who knew that a sword from the shadow isles would be so beautiful? He looked at me with a fine gaze of absolution that night. Honestly, he was not the only one who found pride in the results.

- Crowd control reduction is multiplicative.
Q: Shadow-Port
Description: Elijah swings his overcoat around himself, fading into a nearby shadow, and reappearing in the shadow of an unaware victim.
Effect: Elijah may teleport to any one other unit within range, gaining the bonus of Shadow of Noxus for a short duration. If shadow of noxus is active, then Shadow-Port doubles the bonuses for the same duration. Shadow-ports cooldown is reset if he obtains a champion kill/assist.
Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds Range: 500 units Duration: 1.0/1.25/1.50/1.75/2.0 seconds
- Details:
- Shadow-Port only doubles the benefit of Shadow of noxus when he's alone.
- Towers are not applicable with Shadow-Port, but wards and minions/monsters are.
W: Crippling darkness
Description: His blade glimmers with shadows wreathing it from blade to wrist. Each strike carving the victims bravery down to cowardice.
Effect: Casting Cursed Blade grants Elijah's auto attacks bonus magic damage for a duration. His first auto attack inflicts an armor and magic resistance reduction on the target for a duration, If shadow of Noxus is active, his first attack does 50% increased damage to a single target and puts them under the fear effect.
Cost: 40 mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds **
