Rash'Miat, The Seer - {CHAMP CONCEPT}
Ladies and gentlemen, for the last 2 or so months I haven't been as up to date with creating champion designs as I am normally, as I've been focusing on one of my concepts in particular, Dane, as he received an outstanding amount of feedback and response! I went through 3 kit designs for him, as well as two fully pledged out stories for him, and I am very happy with the result!
Today, I thought we would take a step back from Dane, and add another champion to my collection. Since this is my first concept of 2020, I wanted to create a champion of a completely different play-style from Dane, as well as the champions that are already in the rift! Rash'Miat, The Seer, is a play on himself, as most of his kit revolves around the player needing to be able to control what they can see physically, and can control what the others see mentally.... This champion dives into categories like being able to predict/enhance the future, as well as have a big impact on the game in terms of items. If I had to say, RM would be sort of a combination of Skarner, Orianna, and Aatrox. Without further adieu, enjoy, and leave your comments and questions below!
Rash'Miat's Passive Ability will be, "Metempsychosis" - When Rash'Miat takes fatal damage, his Vixens chase after his killer. Rash'Miat starts the game with 2 Vixens. During Metempsychosis, the Vixens ignore unit collision, and jump to the target for the first attack. They deal 65 physical damage every 1 second each, and have 10% Armor piercing (+5% for every active Vixen). The Vixens attack Rash'Miat's killer for 4 seconds, then the go back to rest. If the Vixens kill the target, Rash'Miat will be respawn with another Vixen. Metempsychosis has not limit to how many Vixens can be created. (Cooldown - 90 Seconds) "You may have succumbed death, but beware, as there are more fatal things then death itself..."
Rash'Miat's Q Ability will be, "Orbital Balance" - Rash'Miat can summon 3 (+1 for every other upgrade) Stellar Orbs by holding down Q, and left clicking within the range. These Orbs will fly to each other after 0.5 seconds of all of them being place down, dealing 40/60/90/120/145 (+10% Missing Health) magic damage to enemies they pass through, and will explode once they collide for 60/90/120/130/180 (+35% AP) magic damage. (Mana - 55, Cooldown - 11 Seconds) "The stars can bring you success, but mine will bring you pain..."
Rash'Miat's W Ability will be, "Revision" - Rash'Miat channels stellaric and psychometric powers on a targeted enemy, gaining the ability to control their movement for 1.5/2/2.5 seconds. After this effect, the enemy will be slowed by 80% for .75 seconds, and Revision will be replaced with the last basic spell that enemy used for 3 seconds. (Mana - 90, Cooldown - 30 Seconds) "Take a look into your future, what do you see for yourself?..."
Rash'Miat's E Ability will be, "Relent The Fox" - Rash'Miat points two Vixens to a targeted area, where they deal 60/95/135/160/190 Magic Damage (+65% AP) to enemies inside. This ability deals 35% less damage to enemy minions and non-epic monsters. (Mana - 70, Cooldown - 14 Seconds) "They always have a scent for the hunt..."
Rash Miat's Ultimate/R Ability will be, "Stellarium" - Rash'Miat opens a channel of the stars. This Stellarium summons a unique Vixen, one for every nearby ally. These Vixens gain +50 AD and +15% armor piercing, and attack enemies nearby every 0.5 seconds. These Vixens heal their aligned ally for 50% of the damage they deal, and last for the following 6 seconds. (Mana - 100, Cooldown - 145 Seconds) "As long as the world turns, it means it is at peace. I am here to make it stop spinning..."
Some things Rash'Miat has going for him/Things that are unique to him:
-
Unique Inting Strategy - He would be the first champion revolving around his passive ability above the rest. Timing your death and making sure you have done enough work to allow your foxes to gain another party member takes a twist on "Inting Sion," and I would be curious to see how this plays out. It may seem unbalanced, but there is no way you would be able to just abuse this power without dealing some damage first (actually playing) because the Vixens need to actually be able to kill the enemy...
-
Unique Team-Based Ultimate - There are not many ally team focused ultimate abilities like Taric or Janna in the game, and it is always cool to see a new one!
-
Players will need to think outside the box - Relent The Fox and Stellarium may be a little more straight forward then the other 3 abilities, but Metempsychosis, Orbital Balance, and Revision are all very unique, and will require some IQ. The timing for his passive, knowing when to die and treating your Vixens like an ignite would be very fun to see players try to master. His placement of his orbs in his Q will take some mastering, making sure you're in a good spot to place them down within its range, and seeing where they will collide is huge, but will pay off. His W, waiting until the enemy uses the spell you want to steal, or waiting for them to make a bad move physically will exercise the timing element that the players will have to master. These 3 elements, Timing, Placement, and Patience will overall make for a challenge that players will have to get good with in order to master The Seer.
