Finnley - The Fair-Haired Inquisition {CHAMPION CONCEPT} - The Quest Champion!

One broad idea for a champion concept that I've always held a special place in my heart too is the quest champion. No, not a champion that kills things or does damage to stack up damage or attack range, but one that ACTUALLY endures quests. Gangplank is the closest thing to a "quest champion," in my opinion, so I decided the quest champion should be a pirate! Who better to explore lost temples and ghost ships, and take down the beings there than a narcissistic swashbuckler!? POTC music queue's in

Finnley is a young and bold captain hailing from none other than Bilgewater, but this is not where he spends most of his time. Finnley and his crew travel all around Runeterra, in searches for epic beings that are up to no good, to defeat them, and to get whatever kind of reward they can for doing it. They tend to stay out of the way of most conflict with other fleets and people in general, and stick to their monster hunting deeds. Finnley's fleet is so enormous, they are often kept locked up in towns and cities that Finnley has never even heard of, making it another task of his to free them, and grow his immediate fleet. There is nothing more breathtaking to Finnley, but to wake up in his cabin, smell the fresh salty air of the ocean, knowing that that day, he would relieve the world of another horrifying, destructive, or unknown beast.

{Champion Kit} - Base stats are subjective, and are open for consideration down below in the comments.

Finnley's passive will be “Red Flag.” - Finnley does not use mana, and instead, his mana bar will indicate his number of available Shiphands. Throughout the game, Finnley can find cell keys from large enemy minions or monsters, and use them to free Shiphands that periodically spawn around Finnley. Once a Shiphand is freed, they locate themselves at the ally base. “I’m not giving you a second chance, you’re probably better off in this cell…

Finnley's Q ability will be “Manifest.” - Finnley uses his three on hand flintlocks to quickly fire 3 rounds. The first shot can be targeted, but the last two will hit the nearest enemy. The first shot is readied ahead of time, and deals 25/45/75/95/130 physical damage, and the last two shots deal 20/40/70/90/125 physical damage. If an enemy is hit with at least two shots, Finnley’s next auto attack will deal a bonus 15/35/65/85/120 magic damage with leftover gunpowder on hit. CD - 9 seconds "Sometimes I can't even tell where the bullets are firing from..."

Finnley's W ability will be “Scuttle.” - {Passive} Finnley’s Shiphands will match his attack, attack speed, and movement speed. {Active} Finnley quickens his sights, raising his attack speed by 23%/25%/28%/30%/35% for 3/3.5/4.5 seconds. CD - 14 seconds "I've got a good feeling in my gut about this one boys..."

Finnley's E ability will be “Precious Locks.” - Finnley begins to do all sorts of moves; backflips, cartwheels, somersaults, etc. While performing, Finnley can still use his other abilities, auto attack, and move slightly in between actions (actions will occur once every 0.5 seconds, and will be performed x2/x3/x4 each). CD - 22 seconds "Mind the hair will you..."

Finnley's R/Ultimate ability will be “Avast ye!” - {Passive} Finnley stores up Shiphands with Red Flag, that await a quest in the ally base. Once at level 7, level 11, level 15, and level 18, Finnley will be assigned quests to defeat magical and destructful beings around the rift, that him and his Shiphands must take down for a reward. Finnley’s Shiphands will have a base health of 150/200/400, upgraded upon upgrading Avast ye! And will not help fight enemy champions, minions, monsters, or epic monsters, only quested bosses. Shiphands can take fatal damage from these bosses, and therefore Finnley will always need to be finding cell keys, and new recruits throughout the game. Bosses cannot be targeted by spells or attacks by anyone other than Finnley and his Shiphands.

{Active} Finnley marks the map with an X. This X is where is Shiphands will immediately travel to. "The heart of the captain only beats as strong as the heart of his crew..."

**{Bosses} **

At level 7, Finnley will receive word of a terrifying ghost ship maiden by the name of Melaka. Her petrifying ship will be located in the ally blue-buff camp, replacing the blue sentinel (for Finnley only) temporarily, until defeated, or until Finnley turns level 11. Once the ghost maiden is taken down, Finnley will gain bonus attack damage and ability power for the remainder of the game.

At level 11, Finnley will scout out the lost temple king, Raphaz. This stone creature’s temple will be located in the west side river, temporarily replacing the river scuttler (for Finnley only) until defeated, or until Finnley turns level 15. Once Raphaz’s temple is destroyed, with him alongside it, Finnley will gain greater movement speed in the river, and receive more speed from movement speed effects for the remainder of the game.

At level 15, Finnley will voyage to the ally red-buff camp, to extinguish the Warthal Fleet, a band of blood hungry, vampire sailors that are up to no good. This fleet will temporarily replace the red brambleback (for Finnley only) until defeated, or until Finnley reaches level 18. Once the Warthal are taken down, Finnley’s Shiphands will loot their gear and weaponry, and grow stronger, doubling their attack damage, and health.

At level 18, Finnley will peer out his final destiny, and attempt to defeat The Moccasin. A giant octopus like creature that hauls deep under the east side river, and can be defeated by killing its 8 tentacles. This will be Finnley’s largest and most grueling battle, so it will not replace the river scuttler. Finnley can take his time tackling this water beast, as The Moccasin will not flee from the rift until defeated limb by limb. Once Finnley finishes his final fight, his Shiphands are relieved from duty, and Finnley’s teammates will embody the spirit and smite of his Shiphands, allowing them to deal bonus damage to epic monsters.

A quest-taking champion sounds quite interesting.

Edit: His joke would be: "I've got a Jar of Dirt."
