[Concept] NEW Baron Nashor Spawn Animation, [Concept] NEW Mage Items
Howdy. I had a couple Idea's, one of which is a Baron spawn animation when spawning for the first time. The others are Idea's for new Items to support champions such as
,
,
, and others alike.
NEW Baron Nashor Spawn Animation I have seen a someone else suggest this as well, and I apologize for not remembering your name to list :( If the Rift Herald (Big purple dude with creepy eye on his back) is still in the Baron pit around one minute before Baron spawns he will remain there, but cannot be attacked by players, but players can still use abilities that don't do damage, or cause anything to the Herald on him. Ex: If Gnar jumped onto the Herald during this time, he would still bounce, but he cannot attack the Herald with any basic Attacks.
Once baron is spawning He will go through his normal stage of slithering through the back walls of the pit; but when he comes up he will either engulf the herald in one bite, or when he comes up from the ground, the Herald gets flung against the wall of the baron pit and crumbles.
This animation is not only badass, but will also emphasize how much of a big bad monster the Baron is to some of the newer players.
NEW Mage Items
I think we can all agree that the Mages on summoners rift have not had a very good pre season so far, with mana potions no longer in the game, and some of their heavy AD counters being buffed with new items and masteries.
Now, some of the Mages such as
,
, and
are still very strong, and good picks. But as you can see the trend among them this is most likely only due to each of their kits that allow HUGE burst potential, damage, and team fight presence if played correctly (which they are fairly easy to play correctly, not meaning to offend anyone who plays them).
Other Champions such as the ones I listed before (Karthus, Viktor, and Ziggs) fall a bit behind, as they are extremely vulnerable to these AD attacks, especially early on (which is when a lot of the current AD champions are very strong). I know that over the next couple months the AD's will be balanced, and smoothned out; I still feel that the impact of the amount, and type of items that have been added to the AD champion's barracks will continue to out way that of what the current Mages have; even after some tuning, and tweeking to the game.
The items I have put down are made in a way that is to give Mages more power early on; and to give them more defensive stats against AD, while still giving them ability power.

Name: Taunting Mundane Cost: 2350 G Buy path: Death's Renew + Death's Renew + Amplifying Tome = Taunting Mundane Stats: +50 Ability Power, and +10 Armor Passive: Upon taking Physical Damage that would reduce you below 30% health, gain a shield blocking 250 + 5 per 10 ability power (120 second cooldown) (Yes the shield would block ONLY physical damage. It would be red, as normal shields are grey, and magic shields are purple)
Name: Ceaseless Assault Cost: 3550 G Buy Path: Needlessly Large Rod + Aether Wisp + Amplifying Tome = Ceaseless Assault Stats: +110 Ability Power +9% Movement Speed Passive: Using an ability on an enemy champion lowers their magic resist by 2 for 3 seconds, stacking up to 10 times.
