Semi Draft and Other Game Modes

I would personally love the option of different rules for games besides blind, draft, and all random. My favorite mode from old school DotA was SemiDraft, where only 30~ of all the possible heroes were available and people drafted from those 30. I understand that Riot wants to make queue times low, and to do this they try to narrow down the different types of queues, but perhaps this could be a custom game option, or even a spin off of it could be introduced as a rotating game mode.
