As you already know, Aatrox is 1 of only 5 remaining Darkins, an ancient race that Aatrox's lore doesn't explain much of. I really like the concepts presented in this lore, not only the 5 remaining immortals but also the conflict between the Magelords and the Protectorate.

While I hope that, upon writing this lore, the writer had at least an idea of what the other 4 Darkin could be, I'm of the idea that the 5 are a similar concept to the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Aatrox can pass as the Darkin of War. Actually, I think I read this idea on these boards somewhere...

Anyway, Aatrox is a Fighter. Since there are 6 Champion classes and only 5 Darkin... Well that's simple math isn't it? We have 1 Darkin for each class minus 1. My personal bias would have the Support class being left out, this gives us an Assassin, Mage, Marksmen and Tank to work with.

Since Darkin is a Race, this would mean that all 5 would get a demonesque visual, but this aside, I'm not sure if anything else needs to resemble Aatrox just because he is the only example of a Darkin we currently have. Although, another nice touch in the lore is what is mentioned about Aatrox's weapon, not the bit about how it drinks the blood of its victims but the part that says it is a seemingly living weapon, and later, "his body and blade moving in unison as if one being". So it could be confirmed that in fact Aatrox's blade is a symbiotic living weapon and use this to give the other 4 Darkins each a unique weapon with similar properties.

Random thought, thinking about a marksmen Darkin just made me realize how much like a one Varus looks xD.

Welp, whats it gonna be Rito? Is Aatrox's lore a plan for future champions? Or a meaningless tease? Are the Protectorate still around? Were the Magelords wiped out or will they make a comeback?
