Swain's not getting his Dragon Master skin in 2016 now...

After 3+ years of people watching and waiting for it, the Dragon Master skin won't be coming in 2016 now. As a very casual, un-ranked, somewhat decent Swain main, this obviously makes me a bit let down, but life goes on.

I just wanted someone, however, to answer a simple question: why hasn't Swain gotten any love? I won't point fingers at certain champions (cough cough), but there seems to be a lot of "playing favorites" going on in the skin department. Some have plenty of skins, yet they get more, but people have been silently waiting for the Master Tactician to get some love for quite a long while. I just hope that we won't have to wait even LONGER for something to happen. And I understand that, in a very business-like way, it's all about supply-and-demand, and "even if you guys knew of a skin that's on the drawing board, you couldn't let us know about it because reasons," but please...

(Everyone play nice and try your very best not to flame. I'm asking a simple question, no need to mud-sling! Please bump so more people see it! <3)

Also...

Can someone explain this little [rather blurry] picture? It's from the Sion teaser way back when. It's obviously Swain, but he looks a little different and his cane is now a rather tall staff. Hmmm...

After 5+ years Unprepared Garen still has not been made. I created this way back when in the Ye olde days of League and saw the first posts of Dragon Swain. I feel so old...

Swain is one of those who is begging for some kind of partial upgrade. they wont do anything aesthetic for him until they have problems fixed for him. Similar to the DT trist skin, they shelved it until the vu was completed.

Riot just has a vendetta against dragons, hence all the dragon slayer skins and Ao Shin being effectively shelved indefinitely.

Well,Swain isn't alone here. Cassiopeia , Sion & Kennen have been waiting years for a new skin.Hell,Sion had to wait for his VU & is still waiting after a year. And before anyone says anything: Yorick Urgot & Taric are schedule for a VU. Poppy VU should be going live in the next few days.I'm not counting them. Anyway,there's probably a few other champs not scheduled for a VU who have been waiting years for a new skin that I forgot.

At this point I think a hope for this skin is really dim. I only expect that he would get his VU and Gameplay updates next year.

It would be very disappointed If they are making a new skin which is not DM for him but better than nothing.

As a fellow Swain main I will never complain about a lack of skins. Tyrant is just too awesome.

That Swain with the staff is Swaindalf the Grey. The Swain we have no is Swaindalf the Bird.

Well, in lore Swain is the emperor of Noxus following a storyline in the old Journal of Justice where he and LeBlanc staged a coup. So maybe they are just biding their time until they can do for him what they did for Miss Fortune and Gangplank and build a whole event around it.

One thing that has been bugging me for a while now: A few updates ago, Riot added a set of centered splashes to the game files in preparation for the new Champion Select system they are currently testing. Amongst the many splash arts were a small number of new ones, most prominently (and awesomely) a brand new one for Swain. Since then, however, they haven't so much as mentioned it again.

What makes me curious is, if they have a completed splash from which to make a centered version, what is stopping them from releasing it? More specifically, are they simply waiting for the new system to be fully in place first, or is there something more to it? And if it happens to be tying in with something else they have planned for him, what could it be?

At any rate, here's hoping something good is headed our way for the Master Tactician and his fine feathered friend, and sooner rather than later! Swain

I wanna know.. what would Dragon Master's Swain ult look like. Maybe that's the problem Riot is having
