They would obviously be mischievous in nature and gameplay. And yes I know the picture above is Dha Ma, but thats a skin for them and my concept is still different enough,

The masks would likely be part of their face or not exist due to the fact Kindred also has a mask.

Gameplay:

I've thought about them each having small hitboxes but separate hitboxes. Maybe their Q would be a dash and if their bond hit an enemy during the dash it would trip an enemy.

Most likely they would be an AD caster/assassin.

So I ask, is this too similar to Kindred? And what might be cool for gameplay?

"Kindred" is nothing more than the "Lamb" with fancy particles, really. I mean, pre-rework Quinn was better at being Kindred, than Kindred itself.

Hmm.. Maybe something the lines of what Kid Kanji said and make them alternate. Say the white/tan one is the version you'd prefer in lane, and the dark/black one is always in the shadows, wandering in the river and brush as a jungler (fast, mobile) and both have skills preferable to their environment. White/tan is less mobile but good at skillshots or that black has close aoe attacks (for jungle clear) as well as dashes (say, if he can dash from a brush and land in another brush, his dash is refreshed).

I cant see this as a mana based champion though. I would love if it ends up being like Rumble with his Heat costs.

Yeah , i was thinking something like that a while back , except instead of an ult , they would be like elise and nid , ... where its 2 different people that share 1 body ,but can change forms when pressing R , .. like a light / dark type champion , ... but answering your Q .... naaa , not similar to kindred ,all champions in league are all similar in a way , but has unique traits that makes them different [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] .. nice idea though

To answer your title question, not really, given that Kindred plays mostly via Lamb while Wolf is mostly support.

I actually had a similar concept that I'm more worried about being too similar to Jayce; basically a little Hextech robot that can convert into an energy cannon teamed up with a wood sprite that can turn into some kind of sword or axe or hammer. The idea was they take turns wielding each other, so using an ability as one (or at least attempting to cast while a power is on cooldown) causes them to switch who is the weapon and who is the wielder, changing their stats and kit accordingly.
