Champions Who Need Different Skins
First and foremost, this isn't a 'champions who need new skins period' thread, for which you could just do a small bit of internet research to check which champions have received new skins that haven't had one in a while. The latest one for example is Kennen, who hasn't received a new skin since December of 2011... quite a while, he's getting a new one now.
No, I'm talking about a new different skin, now what I mean by that is, looking at the lineup of skins that they currently have, you think they need something different, something from the norm, something that gives their character 'more' than what their default or their current skins could give. An example I will use is Lunar Wraith Caitlyn: prior to this skin, all of Caitlyn's skins could be described as 'Caitlyn as a ___ sniper.' With ___ being fill in the blank, like 'savanna' or 'tundra' or 'urban.'
Aesthetically it was like Caitlyn just put on a pair of new clothes and got a new sniper rifle model, the only way it could have been a less of a change was if her outfit was a chroma skin. Lunar Wratih Caitlyn was different from the other skins, because it breaks that mold of 'Caitlyn as a ___ sniper,' you can't really fit an explanation into what Lunar Wraith Caitlyn is in that sort of thing from a simple look at her appearance, even if you decided against an ad hoc answer and reply 'supernatural being associated with the moon,' that's still radically different from what all the other skins present.
Another example would be Renekton. Most of his skins are aesthetically different and pleasing to their fans, but only two redefine Renekton when taken: Outback Renekton and Pool Party Renekton. In the case of Pool Party Renekton, the answer for why it is different is obvious: it's a fun skin on an otherwise violent and serious character; imagine taking Jason Vorhees and making him spend an entire slasher flick in actual full hockey regalia: Jason is going to kill people anyways, but the experience will be different since nobody could take him seriously as a killer at first glance.
Outback Renekton is different, but the difference is subtle: Outback Renekton gives Renekton a civility to his appearance that none of his other skins do, since most of his other skins are just armor that he wears. Outback Renetkon would be like if Jason Vorhees went around killing people just as always, but always took the time to either clean his clothes of blood and whatever muck he steps in, or otherwise gets a new set of clothes if he can't. That small difference is perceptible and changes how that individual might be perceived by others.
So, looking up champions that have a line of skins, who do you think could use a new skin that would be ascribed as 'different' from their general selection? Keep in mind they might already have one skin that isn't like the others, but why stop at just one?
