Alvar Wendell - The Wayfarer [Champ Concept]
Note: this is a "refined" champ concept based on an ability idea for making enemies stealthed from their allies posted by another person 3 years ago. The original post seems to be gone, but you can find my reply post with a more roughed out concept from then here.

Personality: A prideful and deviously playful little goblin. Just on the edge of mean spirited. True to the classic sense of fae creatures, helpful but likes to play tricks for their own amusement.
Role: primary- squishy AP mid melee assassin. Secondary- roaming support/jungle.
Playstyle: Alvar is a sustain damage Assassin (similar to Ekko) that relies on tricks and mind games to outplay your opponents.
PASSIVE: Will of the Wisp - Alvar gathers wisps into his lantern as he travels quickening his stride.
Every 6000 units traveled Alvar generates a stored wisp granting him +100 movement speed that rapidly decays to a static +10 per stack of wisp after 2 seconds. Alvar can have a max stack of 3 wisps on him at a time. (wisps do not generate if at max stacks.)
Q: Misdirection - As is in his nature, Alvar appears suddenly and beguiles the unfortunate.
Alvar casts a long skillshot nuke with a stored wisp. When it hits an enemy champion it deals damage and transports you behind the champion. If it hits a placed wisp, it will cause the wisp to Charm all enemies in its vision for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds.
W: Mischief - Alvar places a wisp to light his path and trick the foolish into following.
If no wisp is in range, Alvar will place a wisp at target location or on allied or neutral unit. Placed Wisps are always visible on the mini map to both teams once revealed and only disappear when consumed. Wisps are nontargetable and a max of 3 can be active on a map at a time. Placed Wisps grant 1100 range of vision to any champ in its field (acting as a neutral ward) but only to those champs in its FOV. While in its field, Alvar's auto attacks deal additional magic damage. If in 1000 range of a wisp, Alvar will instead snuff out a placed Wisp causing him to become stealthed for 3/4/5/6/7 seconds or until Alvar attacks. Alvar's next damaging attack from stealth will deal % magic damage based on the enemy's current health.
E: Waylay - Alvar pushes a foe into the Glade away from their allies so that he might "play games" with them.
Alvar deals damage with a single target nuke to an enemy champ or large jungle monster making them invisible and nontargetable to only the enemy team for 3 seconds. Enemy buffs and bonuses are negated for the duration. Attacks to and from the target will not destealth the target. (Only tenacity and cleanse will effect the duration and enemies can only see the target with truesight).
R: Faery Ring - Alvar knows every hidden path and shortcut. There's no escaping from him.
Passive- When Alvar enters the field of vision of a wisp, a clone of Alvar is produced at every other placed wisp on the map. Clones can only mimic the current movement of Alvar and will not attack or cast abilities. Clones disappear when they or Alvar leave the Wisp's vision or are destroyed.
Active: Alvar trades places with any active clone on the map by selecting them. Alvar cannot trade places if Alvar has dealt to or received any damage from champions in the last 5 seconds.
