Slate is a tanky front line/bruiser. He is a heavy melee fighter who uses his battle wrenches and deploys mechanical constructs to aid teams in battle.

Passive: Coup de Grace: When Slate basic attacks an enemy under crowd control, lightning bursts, and he deals 120 (+ 10 x his level) magic damage to the target and dealing that same damage to all nearby enemies.

Cooldown: 21/18/15/12/9 seconds Mana Cost: 90/130/170/210/250 mana

Q: Ember Hammer: Slate jumps to target area, knocking up all enemies and dealing 100/130/160/190/210 (+0.35 AP) magic damage to all enemies in a cross-shape. After 1 second, the area deals 50% of the damage in an increased size cross-shape.

Cooldown: 50/45/40/35/30 Mana Cost: 50 mana

W: Heal Bot: Slate summons a small flying robot, lasting for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds. Every 5 seconds. he will shoot out a pulse, draining Slates mana, and healing Slate by 5/10/15/20/25% (+1% each 50 AP) of his maximum health. Slate can reactivate the ability to cancel it, causing the robot to explode with one final pulse, and reducing the cooldown of the next bot by 33% if Slate walks over his own Pressure-Detection Trap. Slate cannot reduce the cooldown more than once.

E: Pressure-Detection Trap: Slate gains a charge of Pressure-Detection Trap every few seconds, reducing with CDR. Each time he activates the ability, he places a trap at a target area, that digs into the ground, and stealths. When it is stepped on, it latches to any target champion, staying for 1.5 seconds, then, it has varying effects. If an enemy steps on it, 10/12/14/16/18% is dealt to the all enemies as magic damage based on their maximum health, when it explodes after the initial 1.5 seconds. If an ally steps on it, the trap will latch onto the ally, protecting it from the next tower attack or basic attack. The traps can stack up to 4 at once.

R: Empowered Machinery: Passive: Each time Slate basic attacks an enemy, he gains 1 stack of Empowered Machinery. For every 30 stacks he gets, his next ability will be enhanced.

Q: The secondary cross shape will deal 100% of the damage, and the ability will slow after knocking up.

W: Heals are the same for Slate and allies, and will drain 50% less mana.

E: The explosion will deal true damage, and the protection will work against dragon and will count as 2.

Active: Slate consumes all of his stacks of Empowered Machinery, causing his basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage equal to 50/65/80% of his AP. This deals 5 more magic damage for each stack of Empowered Machinery.
