AD-Versions of certain Items [Item Concepts]

I really like using Rylai's + Liandry's when I play as a mage, because of the strong DoT. Unfortunately, such a thing doesn't exist for AD-based champions. Only Darius with his passive has it, that's it. So I came up with the following three items:

Item Name: Morning Star

Stats: +20 Attack Damage +200 Health

Passive: Unique - Painful Scars: Damaging an enemy champion generates one stack every second for the next 4 seconds. Deal 2% increased damage for each stack, up to a maximum of 10%.

Recipe: Ruby Crystal + Long Sword

Cost: 1415 (665)

Sell: 1065

Builds Into: Darius' Axe

Why? AD-Version of the Item 'Haunting Guise'

Item Name: Darius' Axe

Stats: +50 Attack Damage +300 Health

Passive: Unique - Painful Scars: Damaging an enemy champion generates one stack every second for the next 4 seconds. Deal 2% increased damage for each stack, up to a maximum of 10%. Unique - Torture: Basic attacks apply a damage-over-time effect for 3 seconds that deals a total of 3% of target's maximum health bonus physical damage, with each tick of damage occurring every 0.5 seconds. This total damage is doubled to 6% of target's maximum health against slowed or immobilized units, and capped at 100 damage per second against monsters.

Recipe: Morning Star + Pickaxe

Cost: 3040 (750)

Sell: 2200

Why? AD-Version of the Item 'Liandry's Torment'

Item Name: Noxian Whip

Stats: +55 Attack Damage +300 Health

Passive: Unique - Below the Waistline: Basic Attacks slow affected units by 20% for 1 second.

Recipe: Pickaxe + Long Sword + Ruby Crystal

Cost: 2540 (915)

Sell: 1780

Why? AD-Version of 'Rylai's Crystal Scepter'

What do you guys think abou the concepts? The exact numbers don't matter, but I think this is approximately what they would be. I am waiting for your feedback!

For Morning Star:

  1. I'd increase it's gold cost to 1500 so it's equal with Haunting Guise. AD champions already get better itemization than AP champions, but they shouldn't get things cheaper on top of it.

  2. I'd change it's passive name to Madness so it doesn't stack with Haunting Guise or Liandry's Torment.

For Darius' Axe:

  1. I'd change it's name. "Darius' Axe" is a bit unoriginal. Maybe call it The Wicked Blade or something?

  2. Again, change the passive name to Madness so it doesn't stack with Haunting Guise and or Liandry's Torment.

  3. Increase it's cost to 3100 so it, again, is equal.

As for Noxian Whip, we already have Frozen Mallet so there's already an AD equivalent of Rylai's Crystal Scepter.

I really like the essence of your ideas. I also have a generally related item concept. It's based around allowing juggers and certain other champs like maybe frozen mallet teemo( whom I hate but whatever) to have a special synergizing and we'll scaling item that provides damage, tankiness, and other effects, but at certain costs. Before I list the potential stats, remember that it's just an idea and I have no clue what the actual numbers should be or how many of these passives should be taken out. They could be mix and match. I want it to have special conditions that prevent champs like tanksuo tank fizz, etc from abusing it to cover weaknesses, yet allowing anyone to pick it up and try a different playstyle. As a Darius main , I admit it's more for champs like him, garen, aatrox, Mundo, illaoi, skarner,or special cases like teemo. It is meant to anti-synergize with champs like yas, tryn, MF, fiora, etc. So here goes: Base items: -heavy hammer (new component) -1800 -spikethorn (new component) - 1200 (similar to bramblevest)

Heavy hammer stats- +20 ad +250 how -15 MS (-20 in jg and -30 river, true slow affecting base MS, so that you can't remove penalty by using ult) -10% AS -5% bonus CD reduction

Passive: weight training: gain 2 AD every minute Titan: Every 400 bonus hp or 40 bonus armor (can't mix half and half for a stack) = reduction of stat penalty by 25% (excludes this items bonus hp) Bulky: -20% base crit (-40% for crit chance multipliers (such as Yas or I.E. passives) this debuff can't be eliminated with hp. Heavy: knockups are uniquely reduced by 33% duration

Spikethorn stats (all passives, no base stats, some inspiration from bramble vest): Sidethorn: all auto attacks and damaging abilities cause a dot (adaptive ad or AP): dealing 3-15 damge per stack based on level (up to 4 stacks lasting 4 seconds each) and increasing other dot damage by 10%. Enfeeble: reduce enemy champion or monster damage by 3%/stack Minor wounds: reduce healing on enemy champ by 20%

Combined Item: Warmaster's Hammer (3900 total gold)

Base stats are the same as Heavy hammer, but combined passives of heavy hammer and Spikethorn with these additions and changes: Hammer pro: after 20 mins of heavy hammer and/or Warmaster's, the bearer grows additionally in strength, not only in ad, but now removes the CD debuff and is able to use the weapon with ease, increasing CD by 10% Sidethorn: now deal 20 do per stack up to 5 stacks (+10 for every 400 bonus hp not including this item). Gain 20% damage on existing dots. Ruckmaster: After carrying heavy hammer and/or Warmaster's hammer for 20 mins, gain 150 hp. Worldender: champions with 1250 how less than you can no longer hard cc you if you are above 60% hp. Bonebreaker: reduce enemy champion damage output by 3% per stack, upon reaching 5 stacks, after a 1 sec delay, reduce enemy champions damage output by a total of 25%. Total War: if enemy champ has 5 stacks for more than 2 secs, the next ability or auto used by the weilding champ will cause the enemy to be ground for two secs.

Additional notes: this is meant to be sort of a juggers scaling dream item (perhaps could have AP version for champs like morde, even though I hate morde XD) The concept is supposed to be classic juggernaut, as in the longer the fight goes on, the stronger the champ becomes weilding it, except it also weakens enemies. It's meant to have major tradeoffs: you have to build around it, it doesn't synergize well with Squishies, crit users, or AS champs, it's stupid pricey, and in order to get the best use out of it, you need to buy it early so you can build the AD. Core to the identity are ad, hp, dots, and the damage debuff, other things could be worked in or out. The concept is that the more hours you have, the larger and more physically robust you are, thus allowing you to use the weapon with ease. The idea may be broken, but it is just experimental, and similar item concepts can be used on other classes of items to prevent assassin's and adcs from abusing literally everything. It allows juggers to be strong if they can't manage to build and play right, but it would be niche, as certain matchups would prevent you from building it early, but it would allow juggers to duel hyperscaling melees in the late game. Again, open to all ideas, criticisms, etc, because I think the idea of adding debuffa to items would be a great way of allowing every champ to try an item and build, without being busted af or preventing the use completely (ie, urgot not being able to use steraks :/ )

Yeah I read a little bit and I can't agree... Juggernaut update is long past and I'm not even close to done recovering. I am going to have flashbacks to Darius pentas for the next 4 years. There are too many juggernaut items already, sorry for being so blunt
