Zelania, the Lady of Light [Top Lane Mage/Support Concept]
This is the first champion concept I've made so parts might be a little rough, but I'd love to hear your thoughts and constructive critiscm!
Zelania, the Lady of Light
Design Summary: Zelania is a melee, mild-sustain mage, using her abilities to either protect her allies or lock down the enemy team. Zelania is meant to be played as a versatile mage, whether that be a hybrid damage dealer, support, tank, or bruiser. Abilities:
Passive - Revealing Light: - Zelania's abilities grant vision of the target for 1.5/3/4.5 seconds.
Q - Maiming Light: Zelania forms a whip of light lashing in a target direction, the first champion hit is slowed by 40% for 1 second and takes 30/50/70/90/110 (+ .6 Ability Power), Zelania's dagger is then imbued with celestial light, empowering her next basic attack, gaining increased range and stealing 30/50/70 + (.5 Ability Power) health from the target.
W - Guardian's Light: Zelania's shield expands and surrounds her with light blocking 55/70/85/100/115 (+ .25 Ability Power) damage. Zelania can recast Guardian's Light to send a bolt of light toward an enemy or ally. Recasting Guardian's Light removes the shield from Zelania. On ally hit: Grants ally remainder of shield and 20% + 2% per 100 Ability Power move speed for 1/1.5/2 seconds. On enemy hit: deals 40/60/80/100/120 (+ .5 Ability Power) and slows by 20% + 2% per 100 Ability Power for 1/1.5/2 seconds.
E - Burning Light: Passive: Zelania's abilities mark enemies with celestial light reducing all healing effects by 6/9/12/15/18%. If a marked target is killed, an explosion of light marks nearby enemies. Active: Nearby marked enemies are ensnared for 1/1.5/2 seconds and deals 10/20/30/40/50 + (.3 Ability Power) magic damage and zelania is healed for 20/30/40/50/60 (+ .35 Ability Power) per enemy hit.
R - Impenetrable Light: Zelania creates a large arena around herself and marks all targets inside with Burning Light. Enemies who touch the arena wall take 50/100/150 (.6 Ability Power). Enemies may dash/blink past the arena walls but take 75/150/225 + (.8 Ability Power)
Lore (W.I.P. + I'm not that great of a writer): The yordles tell tales of a glowing giant who granted aid to those worthy of it. Ionia speaks of a being whom held powerful magic that could withstand the darkness within the Pallas Temple. Noxus and Demacia share stories of an elegant warrior of light more valiant than their armies. While in the Shadow Isles, there is a story of a murderous lady of light who would come to slay the creatures of darkness. Zelania has listened to the many tales told of her travels and deeds, but has never corrected them. She has traveled Runeterra since it's very beginning, watching the rise and fall of Shurima, aiding in the first rune war, and attempting to restore the Shadow Isles, where she originally resided before the nation fell to darkness. Zelania still travels in search of a means of bringing back her beloved Golden Isles. During her travels, Zelania has befriended many people, hoping to gather worthy heroes to aid her in her quest to restore the Golden Isles and find her lost love. One such friend was Varus, a man she meant while seeking a source of corruption in Ionia. When Varus gave himself to the corruption in order to gain power, Zelania followed her beloved friend to the League of Legends, hoping if she could save him, she could save the shadow isles.
Appearance: Zelania is a young woman with long blonde hair. She wears white and gold robes with her hood on when she is fighting. Her shield is kept on her back and is broken into 3 pieces that are magically bound together. In her right hand she wields a silver dagger that becomes a glowing, gold sword while imbued.
I'm currently working on a sketch of Zelania that I will add once it's finished.
