Karma Rework with More Damage Options (needs balancing)
Ally W (no self cast)- Grant your allies next damaging basic ability 80/130/...280 (ok maybe too high) + 0.7 of Karma's AP bonus damage. This does not proc Karma's passive.
[When linked it will tether between Karma and her ally, and the ally will have a visual aura. When the buff is used, the aura has an animation that shows that it was used and disappears along with the link so enemies know why the ability hurt more. Or the damaging ability/AoE has an additional visual effect. The buff is used up upon application, not ability cast! Think Annie: if she has her stun up and casts Q -> W quickly, the W will use up the stun before the Q hits her target.]
[The link also implies that the ally has up to 1.5 seconds to use the buff and must stay within range of Karma for it to apply. For example, if she W's Malphite and he ults but the tether breaks before his ult applies to the targeted area of effect, the buff does not happen. Except that this doesn't work with ults... but you get the idea.]
Enemy W damage nerfed slightly.
Karma can see ally CDs.
Ally RW (no self cast) - Increase the damage of this ability slightly and restore 20% missing mana of the target. This still does not proc Karma's passive.
RE - Now deals the damage that it used to deal pre-5.10 to enemies close to the targeted ally (not the entire radius of the current RE, but an inner radius). This should be visually indicated somehow (perhaps a stronger explosion around the target ally where damage is dealt).
Bonus shielding nerfed slightly.
Q - Ratio buffed to 0.5 AP. Base damage nerfed at later ranks (90/125...260). CD changed to 8/7/6/5/4 seconds.
I really wanted that 4 second CD at max rank.
Discussion Rather than making any extreme redesigns, this rework focuses on building on her current kit, though it might not be quite finished.
These changes will hopefully allow her to be a much stronger mid that is a bit more ally reliant but that also synergizes well with allies. Being reliant on allies to deal damage from her W and RE is a way of balancing the fact that she now has more damage than a support while having stronger supportive capabilities than your typical mage.
She can certainly still go support, and top is barely touched.
