Duren: The Shadow Embraced Adventurer (Melee, AD)

-Lore: From the finest days of Piltover, there has always been an air of adventure. For one, that call had never really seemed like a reality. Duren, born into wealth, never thought he would do anything more extraordinary than attend parties and tend to business matters. However, at age 16, as Duren was out exploring the edges of town, he came across a dark orb. The orb called out to him, promising him immense power; the power reach into the realm of the shadows.

Duren quickly fell to the charm of the orb, and followed it to base of Ironspike mountains, to an area buried by banners of fallen warriors. The orb then ordered Duren to find a mysterious set of swords, that had once been used by a great warrior called Maurg, who had been killed in a skirmish between Zaun and Piltover. Upon finding the swords, Duren’s mind returned to him, and he saw the horror of what these enchanted weapons were capable of, and sought to destroy them.

The orb then confronted him, and then identified itself as the spirit of Maurg. Duren was dumbfounded, but reacted quickly, and destroyed the larger of the two swords, the one that carried the power. Maurg roared, and tried to kill Duren, but Duren was able to maneuver, using his size and speed, escaping through a small cavern at the base of the mountains.

Duren quickly fled the mountains, and came to Zaun. He entered the city quietly, and found someone who would help him. Duren remained in Zaun for a period of seven years, working as a blacksmith, and trying to figure out how to destroy the smaller of the two blades, as it could not be destroyed with normal means. Duren realized that he would need find a better source of knowledge, and decided to return to Piltover. Upon returning to Piltover, he decided to ask aid from his well respected sister, and decided to join the Institute of War, to help him find out a means to destroy the second blade. Every once in awhile, Duren still feels the haunting expression of something long forgotten.

Appearance: I am not artistically talented, and I would love if anyone wanted to draw him as you imagine him, but I will you give you a basic idea of how I imagine him. He wears a dark black jacket, with a silver hood. He has belts and laces crossing all over his chest, with a pistol strapped to his side (pistol resembles a luger, if you want to look it up). He carries the sword case on his back, but carries the sword in his right hand ( the sword is a short sword, not a long bladed one). He has blue eyes, and black hair, and as he walks he generates a small, dark mist. If there is any other details you want to add, that is up to you, just remember his attire is mostly black, shaded with bits and pieces of silver.

Feedback Alright guys, that took a long time to come up with, and I would love to hear your guys thoughts and opinions on him, and any tips to make him better, or change his style. Please no malicious comments, if you want to change something, or say that something wouldn't work, please try to be polite about it. Thanks for taking the time to read, and enjoy :)
