Ok, this has probably been done a lot before, but just for kicks and giggles i want to give it a go. What decides champion price? My league says blitz was one of the first to be created, and yet he is still way more expensive than annie or any of the other 450 ip champs. Considering Fizz just got lowered, and I know new champs eventually get lowered to 6300 ip, then I would really like to know what makes a champion cost what they do.
New champions are expensive and systematically lowered in price. Every new champion release the oldest 6.3k champion goes down to 4.8k.
An older champion is reduced in price every third release. These are reduced more by complexity. The (supposedly) easier champions are 450 ip to make them readily available for a new player looking for a simple roster. More complex champions (supposedly) stay at 3150 or 4800. It's not very accurate, but this is how I generally perceived it.
