Katyani, Arbiter of The Great Barrier
Katyani appears similar to the Arbiter of The Precipice in Chronicle of the Godslayer, with her incense lamp as a hollowed skull and tribal look. In my opinion, there are too many abilities that are similar, so many skillshots, target abilities, etc. My goal for Katyani was to make her unique such as Zed's Living Shadow, Azir's Sand Soldiers, Bard's Magical Journey, Tahm Kenches Devour, Thresh's Dark Passage, etc. I wanted new mechanics, new abilites, and something no other champion has, very similiar to the abilities listed above.
Katyani would be similar to Vladimir,Elise, and Soraka in the sense she is built with high health, while at the same time building enough AP to be effective. Only one of her mechanics actually costs alot of health, yet all of her power depends on this mechanic similiar to Zed's Living Shadow. This mechanic also uses up much health if she wishes to be effective. But enough on what her mechanics do, lets see them as what they are.
Passive: Life Flame: Katyani can select up to three nearby Incense Bowls, and pour her Life Flame into them, draining her health, and keeping the Incense Bowls lit, which passively die out. After a certain threshold of drainage, they flames form into a Wight (Similar to a ghoul, but more intellectual and white skin tone) and the more health she drains, the stronger the Wight. For each Wight alive at near or at full health, Katyani gains a small shield.
Q: Wight Command, Leap: Katyani sends a Wight out to leap to a target location, dealing damage and slowing enemies slightly. Katyani can activate this abiltiy once for each Wight she controls. Costs: 50/70/80/90/90 health.
W: Drug Incense: Katyani adds a spicy herb to a incense bowl, taunting nearby enemies. Costs: 15% health .
E: Wight Command, Ravage: Katyani's Incense energizes her Wights, she can activate this ability on enemy to cause them to deal damage and heal her for a % of the damage. The damage is increased if the enemy is slowed. She can activate this on herself to order her Wights to rush to her.
R: Incense Bowl: This spell, similar to Azir's W, is automaticlly unlocked at lv1. She has no choice in which spell to put her first skill point into but this one. Passive: Katyani gets a incense bowl every so many seconds as a resource for this spell, similar to Heimerdingers Turrets. Activate: Katyani places a incense bowl that must be tended by using health ( similar action to basic attacking) points. These give her increased Health Regen. and vision. I havent put much thought into her lore, any suggestions would be nice, Im working on a sketch.
Katyani would most likely be a mid-lane-mage, with high sustain and high range. She is highly dependent on her Wights, which she loses when she dies. Maxing her Q is more useful if you wish to build more tanky as her Wights gain more health and the HR is more powerful along with a stronger shield. Maxing her Q is also viable as her wights gain more damage too. Maxing her E is safer as her pokes are stronger and she can move her wights, which follow her unless recently commanded by aa or E, faster. Her sustain and W are her best form of escape, similar to Nasus who can get in sticky situations against multiple enemies or gap-closers. Her W also helps ensure kills. Keeping your Wights healthy is very important as she has low farm ability and must wait a long time until she has enough Wights. I feel Katyani could be a champion as there is no "Oracle" champion atm, her kit is unique, and she fits the meta.
