Role: Liest serves his team as an upfront bruiser, taking hits for his team and using that damage to destroy squishy targets. Liest has good sustain for the laning phsae thanks to his W, and can escape ganks safely with a well aimed E. What Liest lacks in mobility, he makes up for in CC, sustain, sustained damage and heavy burst from his ultimate.

Passive:{{summoner:10}} Exhaulted Soul: As Liest nears joining the residents of the Shadow Isles his soul grows stronger. Liest gains 2 attack damage for every 1% from 100% health he is.

Q: Soul Rend: Liest converts his own life force into a blast of magical energy. He fires it as a skillshot that deals 60/75/90/105/120(+50% attack damage) magical damage and slows the first enemy it hits by 25% for 2.5 seconds. Cost: 5% maximum health Cooldown: 5/4.9/4.8/4.7/4.6

W: Soul Leech: Liest performs a mystical spell that drains enemies of their life force. The target enemy takes 45/55/65/75/85(+70% ability power) magical damage and Liest receives 25/40/55/70/85(+15% of missing HP) health. Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana Cooldown: 7/6.7/6.4/6.1/5.8

E: Soul Snare: Liest fires a net of dark magic in a straight line snaring the first enemy unit it hits for 1.5/1.8/2.1/2.4/2.7 seconds. During this time Liest gains 15/20/25/30/35% bonus damage against the snared target. Cost: 80/80/80/80/80 mana Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10

R: Legion Strike: Liest uses fragments of his own soul to empower his next basic attack. This attack will now deal 450/500/550(+100% attack damage) true damage as well as the damage boost from his passive. Cost: 30% current health(note: the health cost is taken when the attack is empowered, so if the basic attack never connects then that health is lost) Cooldown: 100/97/94

Appearance: Liest is a furry black yordle who has multiple battle scars all over his face and body. He wears black armor specialized for his size, uses a black cleaver that is about the same height as him, and a black shield. He also has large pointy ears and has a dark, melancholy personality.

Lore: Liest was born in the slums of the city of Noxus. The life of a yordle is tough enough anywhere else, but growing up in Noxus was a nightmare for Liest. His parents were killed during his young age, and the violence in the world around him forced him to adapt. He trained to defend himself and with hopes of one day joining the ranks of the Noxian army.

When his day finally came to prove his worth in hopes of being accepted he was turned down as he walked through the door. He insisted they watch his display but they only laughed at him. Liest snapped, he cut down all the recruiters but one and asked again if he could join. Liest served against Ionia, and quickly rose through the ranks of the Noxian army and being in his position as a yordle only made his feats more amazing.

After resigning from the Noxian army Liest set out for a different quest, to explore the darkness known as the shadow isles. He was successful, but at a price. His venturing there guaranteed that he too would one day walk among its denizens as a spirit, but until then he would be given access to powerful magics. His soul was bound to the Shadow Isles, yet his body could roam free until his death.

Liests thirst for battle had risen again, but due to the halt of the war in Ionia there was only one place to go... the Institute of War.
