Concepts for new/improved versions of Urgot's abilities

ok lets talk Urgot . I have a few ideas that can help the old crab get caught up to the new competition of dino-yordlesGnar , Captain America cosplayersBraum , and floating eye-ballsVelkoz .(and don't get me started on those sand emperors >.>)

  1. R- What if while you where suppressed urgot could move freely and attack at will? or flash into a drag/baron pit before the swap to increase the distance you would have to travel to catch him?

  2. R- What if Urgot's ult dealt magic(or even true damage) while you are suppressed to give it that "oh no Urgot ulted me!" feel.

  3. R- What if instead of a 5 inch teleport, Urgot's ult was something completely different that both synergized with and enhanced his E's and Q's? Hyper Noxian Lockdown(sry thats all I could come up with :P)- Urgot's legs dig into the ground snaring him in place while this ability is active, while active Urgot is immune to displacement abilities(aka knock ups/ knock backs), the range on his Q, E, auto attacks, and the bonus range on a target marked with Corrosive charge are all increase significantly, and all abilities have their cooldowns reduced by somewhere around 40/50%. This would have virtually no cooldown, but extremely limits Urgot's mobility(not that he had any to begin with :P).

  4. R- What if after he pokes you down with E, Q Urgot could blow you to bits without even looking at the explosion? Noxian missile rain: Urgot targets an enemy marked by Noxian Corrosive Charge and launches a swarm of rockets through the sky that deal X damage(+X% missing health).(can only be used on a target marked by a corrosive charge)

  5. W- What if Urgot had a useful W? Noxian Absorbtion Field- Urgot creates a field around him that grants him X bonus armor and MR and any attacks while it is active increase Urgots AD.

I love numbers 1 and 2, but I'm not very keen on changing his ult as stated in numbers 3 and 4.

His R should remain an "high risk-high reward" spell. You can turn around a tf with a good R on the right champion. To do so, you put yourself in danger right into enemy team. If you ult the wrong champ, you bring him into your team's backline, so your team is pretty dead and so are you (imagine teleporting a fed Jax right beside your adc <3 ).

It compels you to play smart and to use it very carefully as it could throw a tf or be your winning move.


Point 1: he really lacks of mobility, a bit more won't hurt at all.

Point 2: It's one of the fewest (if not the only) spell casted on enemy which does no damage at all.

Point 3: Nice one, welcome back good ol' Xerath! ...

Point 4: Despite his poor stats (he absolutely needs aguments.) and his being hyper-mana-hungry, his E+QQQ combo is enough to fairly damage a champion with an adequate amount of counterplay. Giving him a free chasing-nuke would be OP.

Point 5: Yeah. That shield sucks. On rank 5 it absorbs 280 damage scaling with AP (WTF?!?!), while newer champs have in their passive more powerful shields with a major uptime (hi Yasuo) or even gap closers with AD scaling (hi Riven). The slow is OK.
A good idea would be make his shield scaling with maximum mana, as he has to build mana-focused to compensate for his abnormous mana costs, while some free AD or Armor/MR steroid wouldn't be bad on him.

**TL;DR: **I see him as a utility-bruiser/offtank: he builds tanky and he shreds enemy team's armor, acting as a peeler/poker, weakening tanks while mitigating carries' damage (luv his passive <3 ). Furthermore, he fits in "catching comps" by teleporting hot targets into your teammates' CC, "hoping" to get back alive :V

I like how 5 is, but that my be just that. If I were to make Urgot stronger, I'd just say, my main passive can reduce your damage and marks you. Then my Q which can already just auto hit flies to you to deal + damage once until the effect wears off then you can do it over again. The W either needs more armor or a thing that allows for some sort of help because this one only does so much. E does the same thing as the passive with no reduced damage but it sends out the stuff that makes the enemy lose life every little bit and also gives the + damage once. The ult can be the same but it can do with at least some damage like around 80 or something. The bonus armor is nice but its not like you attack while the ult is in effect at first.
