RIOT... We need a new Female Yordle!

We have only 3 female yordles and 10 male yordles! We should get a new female one, preferably a jungler or mid laner because poppy is top, trist is adc, and lulu is support, it would be cool to see a new female yordle considering we only have 3... :( i made a few different posts of the same character iv'e been working on named "Mina-The Artist of Bandle" and you should go read one :) or at least one of the more recent ones i posted of her so you know what i have so far. the point is of this post. that we NEED a new Female yordle. like really? 10 males and only 3 females, it's gonna be some time before thats even close to being balances out :( also, poppy needs a VU and some ability changes... really bad >-> Females- Males- >-> ALSO the last female yordle to be released, which was the cutesy pooh herself Lulu, was released back in 2012 v-v

Fizz and Amumu are Yordles?

That being said, it would be nice to get another female Yordle, even though I hate the Yordles. Poppy can jungle though, just fyi.

yes they are, and i know poppy can jg, but it's not very good, she doesnt have any abilities that deal damage to surrounding or more than one things etc... she's basically just rly bad anyways...

Poppy? Bad?

Poppy is the most broken champion in the game, It's why you never see her on free week and why Riot is giving her kit a 100% full gameplay rework.

She's actually a really good jungler, since she can duel most people early game, fairly good ganks, and clears well.

Though, with lore changes I think it's a rumor that he's a yordle now, but I think it's still implied that he definitely is a yordle.

Well in his new lore (Which I think never actually got released did it...?) at the end the child asks if Amumu is a yordle and there was some kind of like wink as a response or something? I can't remember.

Also in the "Making of" video for Curse of the Sad Mummy, there was art of when his bandages almost completely came off during his ult, showing his yordle ears.

I don't think they've confirmed it either way though.

they have confirmed he was a son of an ancient pharaoh, prince of shurima. They said he was a small child, which makes me think that he is a human since Yordles aren't privy to the desert

.---. I'm all for champion diversity, but "It would be easy to make Ahri transgender because it would be cool and easy to have a transgender champion." is a load of crap. Ahri already has an established character and personality, and she's shown no signs of being uncomfortable with her sex or gender. There's no reason to change her because "representation."

Also- How do you know that we only have heteosexual or cisgender champions? For all you know, maybe some of them are homosexual or transgender, but you simply don't know it because there's no reason for their lore to focus on it. A character should be a character, first and foremost. If you have a character that's based around their sexual orientation or gender, then what you have is a crappy character.

It was a joke LMAO and considering how much they've changed the backstories and downright entire lore of most the champions, ahri being transgender would just be a little surprise because it's just a lore according to rito, they have changed so much idk whats real anymore

Point is the only one still in Zaun is arguably Jinx possibly, that's it.

I mean, Zaun could apparently reproduce Asexually (as in, they don't even need a partner) but I find that unlikely.

Unless they used Magic, Runeterra doesn't have the proper medical technology to facilitate a trans character (not to mention Riot has no reason to bring in a real life 'Debate' like Trasngenders or Sexuality, hence why Riot has only made two token pairings (one of which is flat out stupid))

Genderless Characters? Bard Blitzcrank Galio Maokai Malphite Rammus Skarner Zac having a male voice doesn't automatically make you male, these people don't have even have parts. they're as Genderless as you get.

Gender has nothing to do with Sex, those champions are all labeled "He" by lore. even bard... and "Transgender" people are not a real life debate LOL they're just another type of person, and nobody said the character had to have a sex change... and whose to say they aren't highly advanced enough to have gender reasignment surgeries?! the point is, theres nothing wrong with having a character of that type... gender is an identity, it doesn't even have to be a noticably transgender character, it could just say that they are trans or something in their lore, it'd be unique and definitely something different, like i said, Taric and Ezreal are seen as the "homosexual" characters in the game, nobody rampages over that... LOL

I think you missed the point. Transgender people are people, but Riot would get attacked by players who are Bigots and possibly lose people playing the game, doesn't matter how ridiculous it is to anyone with half of a functioning brain cell. As to Ezreal, absolutely nothing about him nor Taric specifically say they are homosexual. Ezreal x Taric is a fan joke. Riot's already released a picture of Ezreal with Lux and no hint about Ezreal x Taric.

Hell, the Ezreal x Taric Jokes are based on Ezreal being joked about being a Weeaboo because he has the Haruhi dance and Taric because of his voice-over makes one think of the Stereotypical (read that as 'The bad Stereotype') Homosexual Male (which hasn't been updated since the freaking game released and he's long since overdue for an Update.)

We have no idea what time period anywhere in Runeterra is, we can't reliably say whether even Piltover has our level of Medical and Pharmaceutical advancement. The best estimates of technology we have is Jinx's Pow-Pow (Miniguns became more prominent in 1950s, but even the concept dates back to the 1800s and the American Civil War.) Without an accurate gauge of their technological level, we can't determine whether they have the technology, much less the social acceptance of Transgender People.

Genderless Characters are difficult to narrate, it's far easier to stick 'He' or 'She' on anything. Hell, even movies stick 'He' or 'She' binaries on AI, which by very definition must be programmed just to understand the concept of gender. All of the characters I have listed are likely referred to by a gender for simplicity, because A) There is no such thing as a Gender Neutral Voice, and B) it's in our nature as human beings to stick labels on things, even when they don't need labels.

Riot supported the legalization of same sex marriage with a post of Diana and Leona kissing with the hashtage #LoveWins so i'm pretty sure they don't give a shit about what people think of homosexuality and gender identity etc... XD also a good example of a transgender character is Poison from Street fighter :o she's widely known for being a trans women :p HELL! knowing rito, they'd be the silly ones to be like (BOOM LORE SWITCH) "Ahri was a male fox and became a women" YOU SEE HOW EASY IT WOULD BE TO PUT IT IN THERE!? XD #NarutoReference LMAO actually, ahri being a male fox and turning into a women... would be a really interesting lore .-.

People were flipping shit over Gangplank being changed from a joke to a hardcore pirate and you expect people to not flip out about Riot abruptly turning Ahri trans? No, it's not that easy, it will never be that easy. You'd be changing the character inherently over it because not only is she struggling with her consciousness and becoming human, but now she was previously a male and has to adjust to that. Do you have any idea how hard it would be from having to fiddle with your junk to wearing a bra? From not having to maintain your beard to suddenly needing to shave your armpits, legs, and chest?

No, Riot would need to make an entirely new champion if they wanted to explore that dynamic. You can't change a character on a whim because most League Characters have been well-documented and headcanoned in their current iteration.

Poppy has a Sion-size update in production currently (Her new kit is locked and coded and her concept is set and now they only have the models, sounds, animations and voiceover to finish).
