Star Guardian Nami

i don't own the Artwork and all credit goes to the artist, but i thought about what could be the next Star Guardians and Nami just matches the skin theme personality wise and stuff SO WELL physically i think Riot can make it happen and Nami is an Amazing champion who i feel would could totally use a Star Guardian skin :p also i think the Next Star Guardians could include (Taliyah, Zoe, Leona? or Sejuani?, Nami, Sona would be nice and Trist, but i don't think they'll give them to them Sadly ;W; (cries in k-drama) xD also maybe Diana, Xayah & Rakan? Sivir~ Akali, Irelia (after Rework) Quinn, etc xD but Mainly if i were to pick, probably Taliyah, Zoe, Tristana, Nami, & Leona or Sejuani kek (need another tank Guardian but i guess Taric could be a thing lol)

But yeah and the idea's i thought of off the back i guess i can say for visuals and such :p

Visually, i LOVE the artwork this person did for the appearance, adn the colors match her as well UGH <3 <3 <3 her weapon appears to be missing, but we can guess what it could look like considering we have Lulu and Sorakas staffs as examples :p also, her Familiar can be a cute Fish character ghaa >w< and as for her Q since it has to be a bubble? maybe it can be a star shaped bubble? which i doubt they'll do since it changes the shape and can confuse people of the hitbox, so maybe the Familiar can turn into a bubble and be the substitute? xD or maybe a sparnkly bubble with a star in the middle of it similar to Lux's E star at the center ^^ okay rip i need to get into this lol

Q-Aqua Prison~ Yeah i just explained it my bad xD but anyways it can be the fish familiar turning into a bubble shape OH IT CAN BE A BUFFER FISH THEN!?!? XD maybe... just maybe lol, but it could alos just be a sparkly bubble with a glowing star in it that resembles a star similar to Lux's star guardian E :P

W-Ebb & Flow~ This can obviously be the Familiar ridding stars and sparkles, or it can be a shooting star bouncing off of people with a glitter star trail ^^

E-Tidecaller's Blessing~ This is obvious, it can make little stars appear around the ally champion and their next auto attacks are stars xD yeah... kek

R-Tidal Wave~ This can be a few things, but mainly i think it can be a big wave of Sparkles and stars and the familiar, riding on a the wave and the wave itself could resemble a star trail mixed with a watery look and obviously lots of sparkles and stars and probably fish familiars riding through and on it >W<

This is a really nice concept. Different to every other Nami skin concept I've seen and all the ones we have in game.

Makes her seem a lot more matured.

I like the concept.

The only concern I would have is that Nami has a fishtail. The story of the Starguardians is the typical magical girl trope. They are living as normal high school girls in society, while transforming and fighting monsters if necessary.

Seeing Nami in such a high school setting seems strange. To make it work, she would need a "human transformation" to be able to go to school. At this point, it think it would feel a bit forced to get her in the skin line.

But maybe that is just me. I just think that we got some female champs which would fit in the line a bit more naturally, without having to put in such gimmicks like "human Nami".

Caitlyn Vi Taliyah Tristana Sivir Annie Karma Xayah Rakan Orianna

(I gotta admit that Orianna is a bit of a stretch, too. But damn, I want her.)

These were just examples for champion fitting in a Starguardian skin, while feeling less forced into it as Nami.

My personal preference for the next Starguardian cast would be: Caitlyn Vi Orianna Taliyah Quinn

Caitlyn Starguardian Caitlyn

She would fit in as the responsible class representive. She is always hanging out with Vi, nobody in the class knows why they are friends in the first place, since their personalities are very different. She is very serious in nature, yet Vi helps her relaxing from time to time and simply enjoy school life.

Her familiar would be a mouse, referencing Bebe from the same series. The cupcakes in her traps are replaced with slices of cheesecake. Her ultimate summons a gigantic rifle similar like the attack Tiro Finale.

Vi Starguardian Vi

Typical tomboy (Japanese trope: Bokukko) and the sporty type. Like already said, always hanging out with Caitlyn, trying to be a vent for her, since she thinks that Caitlyn is putting too much pressure on herself.

She has 2 familiars, not entirely sure how they should look like. Would have picked rams, but the ram is already taken by Soraka. (Suggestions? ^^)

Orianna Starguardian Orianna

Almost died in a fight, the Starguardian magic was able to give her a new mechanical body. Most forced champion in the line, gotta admit. Yet the robot girl as a trope in Japanese anime becomes more and more common.

Her familiar is her ball, maybe make it look like a round animal (hedgehog? armadillo?).

Her personality is kuudere. Replacing her body had some side effects, she is not able to communicate her feelings properly anymore, this makes her look like she has a cold personality. She is not able to visit school like the other Starguardians, so she is doing the housework for them while they are there. This makes her feel lonely.

Taliyah Starguardian Taliyah

Her sleeves give great opportunity to give her an outfit that looks more like a kimono. This would make her fit perfectly in the Himedere trope. She is the school princess, arrogant and expects everyone to worship her. Her familiar could be something related to the element earth (mole?)

Quinn Starguardian Quinn

Her familiar is obviously her bird Valor. He is granting her the ability to fly across the sky, something she has in common with Ezreal. I think this could have some really interesting dynamics if they are going to meet in a story.

Tsundere in personality. She always acts like she doesn't need her team and would prefer to be left alone, but that is not true. She enjoys the time she is spending with the other Starguardians.

Of course, all the skins would have star animations. Thoughts? ^^

I don't think you would see a girl with a horn growing out of her head at your high school either? [sg-soraka] <case and point I think if they fit Soraka they sure as hell can fit my babe Nami in! [sg-miss-fortune] I also really want a Stargaurdian Morgana and Sona but i'd happily settle for Nami!

Nami on the other hand would give away her status as a magical girl immediately. She has a fishtail and is riding on a magically controlled water wave to move on land. As long as she isn't using magic to change her appearance significantly (read: getting legs), I just can't imagine her in that high school setting.

This is just my personal opinion, though. Opinions may differ here.

Yeah, I get your opinion and it makes a lot of sense. But i still think Soraka and Orianna are a stretch, and Ahri to. I mean it'd be kinda hard to get the appearance that much and do it every second of every day if you think of it in the High school setting. But then again I may just be pushing the Nami thing due to I was a Nami and main and still adore her lmao.

Soraka doesn't rely on floating on a magical wave of water to walk on land. There is still a huge difference here.

Yordles use disguise magic anyway, so maybe they look like humans for people. Soraka and Ahri could just be girls being into cosplay. Meanwhile Nami is giving away her magical nature immediately. Hiding that you are a magical girl is kinda hard if you are riding on water you control with a wand.

Like I said, maybe that's just me. But part of the fun of the magical girl trope is that they are hiding their true nature in society.

I love the concept and the artwork is beautiful, but I don't think Riot is going to be releasing new Star Guardian skins any time soon.

Maybe not in form of a new Starguardian team. But the skin line became pretty popular and they even released stories for it now.

I could imagine that they want to enhance the Starguardian universe even further. Maybe with the introduction of an opposing team for the Starguardians, just like they added Elise as the enemy of the Super Galaxy team recently.

I will still hope that we will see another team of Starguardians. There are alot more champions I would like to see interpreted as magical girls and leaving out Caitlyn and Vi is a crime in my opinion.
