THE NEW CHAMPION IS FROM...

I THINK I KNOW WHERE THE NEW CHAMPION WILL BE FROM!!

First image shows a Watcher, symbol of Freijord. Second image shows the Fall of Shurima. Third image shows a crown from the Shadow Isles.

What do these places have in common? They are the mythical parts of Valoran that contains all the magic. They are the different "realms" of Valoran. What other realms have not been included? The Void and Ionia.

Take a look at the recently released champions: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/champions-skins/champion-release Braum, Freijord. Azir, Shurima. Kalista, Shadow Isles. And the most recent champion,RekSai, from the Void. Excluding Gnar who we have no idea where he came from. If you still don't get it, these recently released champions are in the order the realms are shown in the preview. The only realm left is Ionia. Look at the way the people are dressed, do they look Ionian? No, not really, unless middle eastern people are considered Asians too, since Ionia is basically the Asia of Valoran.

But what if the new champion is from a unknown realm? Take a look at this site: http://www.surrenderat20.net/2015/02/champion-preview-wonder-above.html Scroll all the way to the bottom of the post. Do you see the similarity of the symbols recently appeared on the Summoner's Rift and the Bard's symbol?

"Some call it the Mountain Shrines or the Great Caretaker. Those of us from the floating villages know of an older name, a name that speaks of a universal truth. The name we took for our kind: Bard"

What if this new champion is an extraterrestrial from outer space?

Fingers crossed for a support. Looking at the last 10 champs released we've got

Top/Jg - RekSai Gnar Aatrox Mid - Azir Velkoz Yasuo Support - Braum ADC - Kalista Jinx Lucian

Seems like one category is severely lacking. Also, Bard sounds like a support role anyway.

I wonder the new Champion will either be Support or Top Tank... as they said there will be no Knockback/Knockup so...

Support prediction: 1 Stun/Slow/Root/Silence ability 1 Heal/Shield ability 1 stat enhancement ability (Don't know if it's AD/AP/MS) 1 zoning ability

Top Tank prediction: 1 Slow ability 1 ability scaled by Health/Armor/MR 1 self-buff ability

Support rating: Attack: between 2-3 Defense: between 3-6 Ability: between 5-7

Tank (Support/Top) rating: Attack: between 4-5 Defense: between 6-8 Ability: between 3-5

as for Place of Origin I think it will be "Unknown"...

Gnar is from the Frejlord

I'm going to guess that he comes from where Panth came from. Where ever that is.

Or, it could be Ao Shin making his long awaited arrival, but the name may have changed to Bard...

Either way, I'm just hoping he's a support.

The stars serve as a universal record collection, as they hold record of The Watchers, Shurima, The Ruined King, and Bard. Whoever Bard is, they are someone of INCREDIBLE importance. Such importance that would rank them among the Watchers, Shurima's fall, and The Ruined King. Best to keep a close eye on this one ;)

It's open to many possibilities.

As I said in another thread. I think that Bards are a gypsy group so while the surroinding can be related to Ionia (east asia mountain peaks) we can't tell anything about this champion's oprigins.

It could be one of the first Bards, it could be one totally unrelated to them but part of another realm. The effigy we saw is surely related to it somehow as it came back in the skies but still all is too vague.

Many here thought that it was Yone and not Yasuo to be released at the time and it was quite obvious that it was the latter the one coming xD

If he does come from outer space, I hope he's not too similar to The Oracle.

you guys sadly think bard is the name of someone..It is not it is a people. the people they are talking about are bards. One of the Bards will join the league. Knowing what I know about bards the champion will do one of 2 different things. If this is the traditional bard it will be a support using sound/magic like Sona to do various different things Silence dancing fear most likely will be the types of things this champ will do. However if it is like a bard from Bard's tale this champion will most likely summon fellow companions to aid in battle. these "companions" will most likely be things like rats, which will do various things most likely magic damage and might even hit the opponent with disease or something like that most likely damage over time. That being said the champion is probably a support but might fit into different roles as well like yorick who currently does not have a counter.

In the blue jungle between the blue buff and the toad, (I can never remember his name. Grog? Gromp?) on top of the rock wall there you will see the image from the reveal carved into the stone and it will glow faintly for a moment. Next to that wall you will see a small fox like creature that resembles Gnar. I think that the two are linked maybe.
