Lore:

Wahkan, driven out of promised land saw the fire, he saw the souls of the dead, the glimpse of the loved ones. For the lands of the Isles he watched it, there was simply not much he could do, he was shocked, he was horrified, traumatized for life. His only hope was what he stood on.

In the lands of Ionia, a very poor tribal group called The Shizanai Clan (named after the Japanese word "Shizen" which simply means nature.) made shelter within tents. Most of them were completely isolated from the rest of Ionia, as urban citizens who practiced martial arts believed in totally different things. The Shizanai people were very peaceful nature loving people where they claimed to be living deep within the spirit world. They were mainly unaware and did not care about the rest of Valoran, as they were busy meditating, practicing traditions, and creating music. Unfortunately Ionian citizens were annoyed by these people for disturbing the peace and ruining the tranquil atmosphere. They were tired of village dwelling Shizanaians begging for stuff, and making too much noise throughout the night. The Shizanai people were known to throw parties and festivals which disturbed peace. Ionian Elders asked the Shizanaians to settle it down, but they never usually got the message. It eventually came to a point where people of Ionia decided to trade and try to make peace with the tribe, this method worked for several years, but Ionia soon started to run out of supplies and nourishment.

Wyahno the chosen one, the one who could carry the traditions. A great responsible young man who brought hope for the people, a provider like no other, known as the peace harbinger, he would never hurt a fly.

Several Elders could only made one decision that they did not wish to embark, as it was usually against Ionia's policy to do this. They decided to give the Shizanai people freedom still but they also gave them several rafts. The Shizanaians were banned from the island and were asked to set sail elsewhere. The tribe feeling sorrow grabbed all of their belongings and musical instruments and set sail to the sea. They eventually hit land Southeast from Ionia to a very dark and mysterious island called the Shadow Isles. The people were a bit disappointed that the land did not have the beautiful qualities like Ionia. Many people wished to leave, but they were content that they found land, as if they left, they could've gotten lost. The Shizanaians threw a large party for their new discovery and they used parts of the raft for firewood and building materials, they played music with drums and flutes, meditated, sang songs, and danced.

The tribe decided to name their new settlement Shizanaia. They felt they had to start a civilization, so they decided to hire one of their citizens as a Chief. A great wise shaman who ventured with them along with his family was who they wished to become their leader. His name was Father Takodao, he wore an ancestral dream-catcher carried down by generation, supposedly crafted by an ancient ancestor, this amulet was made of a magical weave material that can overseer the spirit world attached to a circular ring made of an unknown substance. Father Takodao was married to a peaceful woman who was an expert gardener/food supplier who also created many types of medicine, her name was Owaji. This couple had two kids, who were both boys, Wyahno who was 18 years old, and the younger brother Wahkan who was 15 years old, they were excellent drum players.

After a few days of decisions and several tents were set up, Takodao decided to become the leader, hence the name Chief Takodao. He told many stories of spirits and legends, as he feared that the island they are on is cursed and is roamed with evil dark spirits, with a secret power of the dream-catcher he could tell something was not right with where they were at. They were stuck here though, nothing they could really do. Takodao did everything he did to ward off the evil spirits by singing songs and creating shamanic scrolls, nothing appeared to work.

A few days had passed and once at nightfall during a spooky night, an undead ambush army appeared in search of souls. The Shizanaia was clearly an unwelcome town. Fire and struck everywhere, it was chaos. This all happened around midnight, and the Shizanai people had no idea what to do, they never faced violence. Their strongest warrior Hopeio who was a hunter was even shocked, all his life to only to face animals. A sad night when the Shizanaians were being killed by the undead, Hopeio was beheaded by an axe wielding barbarian.

Almost everyone was doomed except for one lucky individual who was taking his raft project out for a spin a little ways from the shore, the youngest brother Wahkan carrying a torch saw smoke and flames coming from Shizanaia, alarmed he steered his raft back to try and see if everything was okay. When reaching the shore Wahkan noticed his older brother Wyahno lying on the ground with blood everywhere, appeared he was fishing and was speared through his heart by his own spear. In shock and terror Wahkan ran over to his brother and kneeled down.

"Wyahno! Wyahno?!? Speak to me! No, this can't be! Why Wyahno?! Whyyyyyyy!?!?!" he cried shouting followed by sobbing.

"Peace my brother. I'll always remember you." Wahkan shed a tear as he spoke in a prayerful voice. Wahkan took his brother's large bead necklace he wore around his neck, and washed the blood off of them in the water.

"I'll take these in remembrance of you my brother." Wahkan said covering him in sand. Wahkan realized his town was still in danger, so he quickly got up and put the beads around his neck and raced into Shizanaia. It appeared it was too late the undead had already left. Wahkan was horrified as everyone was dead. He heard groaning and heavy breathing in the distance.

Noticing behind the main tent he saw his own Father Takodao in pain and distress had a large wound on his abdomen.

"Oh no! Don't worry my father, I will get aid." He tried run into the only standing tent and out to the sea to get a wet cloth to soothe the wound.

"No, wait my son, you must not wander, it is unsafe out there, dark spirits roam." his father commanded.

"Father, You're dying! I cannot leave you here!" Wahkan replied.

"Wahkan, my chief, It is too late, I'm already dead. The wound is there forever." Takodao continued.

"What do you mean father? It is never too late." Wahkan told him. His father started coughing and breathing heavily.

"That is my boy, Wahkan affirmative as always, I knew I could trust you, take this." Takodao tried to act happy with a little laugh. He took the mysterious dream-catcher off of his neck shaking and struggling a little bit.

"Take this, our great Shizanai ancestors created this, give this to your eldest child and tell him or her to pass it to your grandchildren until the end times." Takodao said handing Wahkan the dream-catcher.

"What does it do?" Wahkan asked.

"That is for you to figure out my son, now leave this unholy island and return to the promised land." Wahkan starting breathing and coughing even more heavier.

"Wait, Father! Don't go! Please no! Wait!" Wahkan whimpered.

"Wahkan....Go, watch for the dark stars....and remember this message.....I love you." Takodao stated with a very weak voice, he laid his head down closing his eyes with a last breath.

"I love you too father...." Wahkan started to cry. Putting the mysterious dream-catcher around his neck, and kneeling over his father for several minutes. He then went to go search for his mother to see if she was alright. He found her in their tent lying dead, there was no blood, appeared she was knocked dead.

"Why must this happen? Just why mother?" he kneeled over her and wept. He decided to take her cloth gardening cloak, which she always wore when she dug her hands in the soil.

"I love you mother, I'll always remember you, I'll take your cloak as remembrance." he left quietly putting the cloak over his shoulder.
He was just about to leave when he was disgusted and traumatized even more to see the great hunter Hopeio, who could not save his village lying with his detached head a foot away from him. The head had the villages symbol of the provider, which where a elk's antlers attached to a headband cloth known which is known as the guard who stands tall. Hopeio also wore a red wolf's pelt on his shoulder which represented protection. Wahkan decided to take both the antlers and the pelt to wear in remembrance of the village, as Hopeio and a few others were who kept the village alive by hunting for resources, his nickname was Hope.

"Hope, a strong warrior and provider you were, I'll take these artifacts in remembrance of you. Rest in peace Shizanaia" Wahkan stated with a little weep. He claims that the symbolism of the beheading of the provider means Wahkan is isolated from everything, therefore he wore the wolf pelt and the antlers to try and keep his Hope back together.

Wahkan knew the island was dangerous, so he grabbed his drum and followed his father's orders to leave the isles. If he were to get lost, at least it would be away from the darkness. He got on his raft and drifted back out to sea, using every memory he had to try to find Ionia.
While at sea, Wahkan played a sad song of his people while playing his drum.

                                                                          ~~-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------~~

Was my guards in peace at last?
                                                                                                     No moooooore screams,
			                                                                          No moooooore terror
                                                                                                 Because we are the team.

_ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Food was scarce and Wahkan had gotten lost, he managed to survive out there for about a month surviving on food and packed water. He finally had found a forested island south of Bilgewater and east of the Plague Jungles. Appeared no one was there except for animals that made strange noises, a very strange but small island it was, possibly undiscovered. Wahkan knew little about fighting, so it was difficult to hunt. Luckily he found a dead hawk in the woods, he took some of the feathers and wore them. He also decided to have the hawk as a meal for dinner.

Gathering some sticks a little away from the sand Wahkan started a bonfire. When trying to place a stick into the fire, his dream-catcher accidentally hung off of his neck and started on fire. In panic Wahkan took it off and threw into the mud, and the flames started to disperse and the dream-catcher started to glow with 2 bright green strings crossing over each other within the mud. Wahkan was surprised and shocked to notice the glow in the dream-catcher. He was afraid to touch the dream-catcher because he felt he might get burned. Wahkan grabbed the drumstick and touched the glowing dream-catcher. Unexpectedly the drumstick began to burn with green fire, the fire climbed up Wahkan's arm and he freaked out trying to jump away backwards and drop the drumstick. It was then a mysterious explosion of dust that appeared, a red wolf spirit, a stag, a buffalo, and the hawk that was about to be cooked all appeared in the form of dust before Wahkan's eyes. The spirits turned into a dust and ran right into Wahkan.

Wahkan unaware of what happened took all of his belongings, even the dream-catcher, which he was afraid of bringing, but he did not want to break the family amulet tradition, it could mean something important. He then set sail for the morning, as he wanted to find the answer behind the dream-catcher, to know what had happened to him. Weeks later he finally arrived at shore south of Noxus, he decided to venture closer to civilization, he found someone he was looking for who might know the secret behind the dream-catcher. A traveling salesman had a look at the dream-catcher, the salesman offered him a caravan ride to the area around Mount Garganuan and, as he noted that the amulet may have something to do with dirt and ancient rune, he was sure that might be the best place to find it.

Wahkan thanked the man and went on a walk up through the valley. Wahkan went into a small cave that he had found just below the mountains. The cave was surprisingly lit with a very dim blue tint, inside the cave appeared to have 5 dark passages that led backward, and in the middle was an alter surrounded by feathers, old animal pelt, overgrown with weeds and plants ,and a small pond of clear water laid underneath the alter. The alter was made of basic sticks and stones made in a shape of a pyramid about a meter tall, in front was a stone with flat top that had an engraved unknown text around it glowing with a blue fiery tint. Wahkan was curious to know what this mysterious alter was. Wahkan decided to see what would happen if he placed the dream-catcher on alter, so he did. Nothing appeared to happen at first, but Wahkan had started to get dizzy and hallucinate, he saw tinted glowing blue stars and sparks fly down upon him from the top of the cave, just then a very blinding bright light with a bluish tint shined over the dream-catcher.

All of the stars began to spin around in a large range around the alter, and the light started to rise and formed into a human-like figure. Wahkan could feel wind and dust gyrating around, almost like a forming tornado. An glowing old man who looked like a very powerful Shizanaian wearing his very bright dream-catcher appeared in the dust.

"Are you my great grandchild wise one?" The man began to speak. The cave was silent.

"Why, I am not sure, Am I?" Wahkan asked in amazement.

"Has your father handed you my rune?" the spirit continued.

"Yes, Father Shizanaian Chief Takodao." Wahkan stated.

"About time, my chosen one has arrived. I have been looking for that one grandchild to change our tribe forever, tell me your name hero, and I will tell you mine." the ghost said.

"I'm Wahkan, and I think I'm the only one left, our tribe was slain by the dead. I'm the youngest."

"No....This cannot be, You are our only hope, our only harbinger, as for I am just a rune spirit doomed for eternity, my sign Grandfather Awan." the man said claiming his name as Awan.

"How can I do this? I don't know anything about this." Wahkan said with fear in his tone.

"Experience, witness, and fate. You've watched it all across the land my child. You've watched your people fall, all of it, all of them. Now why did you let the rune consume the mud?" Awan began to ask.

"I'm sorry it was a mistake, It accidently contacted fire, I couldn't help but offer the ground." Wahkan confessed and admitted.

"No worries, Mistakes may lead to good, as when we fail, it will eventually lead down the right trail. You are now an earthborn, I created these magical powers in the rune, so that the chosen grandchild shall have a choice of power protect your tribe." Awan said.

"It might be too late, they are already gone." Wahkan said.

"It is never too late, townsmen still roam the land which must be watched." Awan replied.

"I've never fought in my life ever before, how do you expect me to know how to use these powers?" Wahkan continued. In the four passages, a vision of similar dust animals appeared within the current. Red Wolf in one, Stag in the next, Bison in another, and the Hawk in the other.

"Your slain animals will conjure the land for you. Just play the sound of the quaking land. Use the possession upon the ground." Awan finally said while everything began to fade away. Wahkan was feeling dizzy and confused. Out of one of the dark passages a man wearing black hooded robes appeared, he had a torn undead like skin, he went toward the dream-catcher and took it before Wahkan's eyes.

"Yes, just what we needed! Great power." the hooded man smirked and said with an evil glare towards Wahkan.

"Hey! Do not take that, it is not rightfully yours, it belongs to my father." Wahkan tried to say kindly walking toward the man. The man shielded with his arm up front of the alter, carrying the dream-catcher in the other hand.

"YOUR PEOPLE ARE DEAD FOOL, NOW MOVE ALONG." the man hugged the dream-catcher and stood looking away in a look of anger. Wahkan could not help holding back his anger, he realized where the hooded man was from, and reached toward the dream-catcher himself.

"You shall not get away with this!" Wahkan yelled in anger. The man tugged the dream-catcher away from him, just when a fight was going to happen, several evil undead warriors appeared behind them in the darkness. Wahkan was startled and held his drum close in his left arm. The hooded man was handed a knife from one of the warriors, and someone attempted to headlock him from behind.

"Hahaha, Mister last survivor, what an accomplishment, it is a shame GREAT people like you have to go isn't it?" the man held a knife up to Wahkan's throat. "This amulet will now be ours, how sad to see an end to your kind, Awww so sad " he stated doing a fake frown tilting his head "Any final words you'd like to say to us, little drummer boy?"

"You left my men in the dust, now you shall brace the land." Wahkan struggled to speak, however his eyes started to glow with a bright green tint. The hooded man was confused and was about to slain Wahkan, but it was too late, an spontaneous explosion of rocks and the ground beneath them caused them to be hit backwards right as Wahkan hit his drum. Dust in the form of a Bison charged at the undead men, dirt and rocks were being controlled by Wahkan's drumstick.

It was chaos all from one man, they tried to fight back but were stopped by a leaping stag in the form of dust, either that or an hawk that would tear the ground beneath them. They had nowhere to hide, as they would be seen by wolves made of dust. The undead men were all put to the ground and were in a state to never walk again. The hooded man lay in the dust next to the dream-catcher, Wahkan took it and vanished.

The next morning Wahkan arrived in the town of Demacia, it was several days after his date of birth, he turned 18. Three years later to finally find a civilization, people of the town were in shock to see Wahkan, they never usually got visitors who were like him. He resided in Demacia for around five years, he occasionally told people his story of how he found Demacia, and what had happened to his family, he never mentioned his earth-bending powers to anyone knowing how much light the people in the city followed, he feared talking about facing dark spirits would be unnecessary. He spent most of his time playing the drum in the town performing his song "Rest Well, Shizanaia."

No one knew that Wahkan had the power to bend the earth until Demacia was getting raided by a couple of bandits, possibly from Noxus, one of them was riding a white appaloosa horse. Wahkan happened to be the closest to the bandits, he sent a leaping stag made of dust with a rock toward them, he threw many more elements and pieces of Runeterra right after leaving them to kiss the ground. His audience was watching and they were all amazed by his power. Wahkan leaned over to the horse that had died, wondering if he could get a power from the horse, since he had other animal spirits by his side. Wahkan decided to touch the horse with his drumstick and a green light was absorbed. Everyone was amazed and baffled by what they had witnessed.

"Hm....An unexpected hero eh? Consider yourself worthy." a woman with a French accent was heard behind the crowd. A famous sword wielding duelist walked out from the crowd, it was Fiora.

"I musn't seen a man put up such a fair fight, May ask your name my darling?" Fiora continued to asked.

"Wahkan, Why you ask?" he responded.

"Moving the dirt with ghost figures, it's not something we see on a regular basis, We need you out there for war my friend, Oh my dearest, I am Fiora, I beg your pardon." she suggested. The conversation continued between them and the crowd, they shared stories, and Wahkan told how everything happened, which included facing dark spirits.

"Not a thing to worry, we face dark beings all the time, it is what we do. When you join us in company of war we face those who haunted your homeland." Fiora explained.

Wahkan decided he would put his powers to a good use and join League of Legends to get revenge on the undead from The Shadow Isles for taking down his people.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WAHKAN: Class: Mage, [AP][AD], Secondary: Tank Roles: Mid, Top, Jungle

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Basic Attack: Wahkan points the drum-stick to the ground and can use a force to toss clumps of dirt/rocks at enemies

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

**Passive: Wolfguard **

  • Every ability used, a stone will repel back to Wahkan and circle around him. -Every 3 stacks of abilities used the 3 stones will combine into 1 which circles him, creates +5 Armor. -The same process will repeat. -Another 3 stacks, stones will circle him. The 3 will combine into 1. His armor would then be +10. -Then 3 stacks of abilities, all the stones would combine and disappear. His armor would be +15. -Lastly another 3 stacks would be used, armor would be +20. -A STONE WILL NOT APPEAR IF THE SAME ABILITY IS USED RIGHT AFTER. -Conclusion: For every 3 consecutive abilities used, Wahkan's armor is increased by +5.

WOLF: -When at 12 Stacks(4 Big stones) his armor is at total of +20. His [4] Trinket, is replaced with a Wolf ward/totem, a howling sound is activated when it appears. He can place this just like a regular Warding Totem.

  • A wolf spirit in the form of dust guards the turret, and the surrounding area is revealed for 40 seconds. -If any enemy goes into the wolf's range the wolf will leap toward the closest target just like Rengar's passive, the enemy is slowed by 30% for 2 seconds. -The wolf bites his enemies as basic attacks, but with 5 more Attack Damage. -This wolf cannot be slain, similar to Zed's shadow.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

**Q: Stagvault ** -The animation for this spell works very similar to the sphere from the Steam game "From Dust." Wahkan was kind of an inspiration from this game.

-He will hold the drumstick towards the ground and summon a sphere of dust that can form over a few seconds. The max the rock can be held is 3 seconds to deal more damage.

-Q can be pressed again to throw the dust anywhere in his range.

-Appearance: Appears that a clump of dust is batted upwards towards the location. Looks similar to Ekko's W ability motion. A brown dust-like stag figure appears to be doing a large leap, which has an appearance of riding over the sphere of dust.

-When the stag lands, a ground animation of dirt appears, looks just like Alistar's ground slam, "Pulverize." No enemies are rooted or airborne, only damaged.

-When landed the stag disperses into thin air.

W: Bison Bash -Wahkan can charge toward an enemy(Any enemy) like Xin Zhao's Audacious Charge.

-When he charges toward an enemy, extra damage is dealt.

-He slams the top of his drum, and the ground up front of him is torn apart in a line as a dust-like Bison figure charges tearing the ground behind it.

-Unfortunately, to level out the amount of Crowd Control Wahkan has, this does not slow, airborne, or root any enemies. This only damages them.

-This looks quite similar to Braum's ulimate "Glacial Fissure"

-At the end the Bison dust disperses into thin air.

-This is practically a very similar spell to Cho'Gath's "Rupture."

-Immediately after, the hawk disperses into the dust.

-Yasuo players should love this guy.

-Enemies in a range of 500 for the 1st 0.5 seconds are slowed by 99% due to a trail of dust left behind. For the rest of Wahkan's journey anyone who goes near him, or is run-over in a range of 50 is slowed for 80% and damaged.
