Gifting with BE

So, I have a lot of friends who have been playing A) since alpha or B) for at least 3-4 years. I just started playing in April of this year and something painful is the grind for BE. It is a lot and it is messed up how long it takes, but that is a different topic. Anyway, something they wanted to do was gift me characters because they all had 20-30k+ BE, but they could not because of the system. I feel like we should be able to gift each other BE and this would bring in new players too. Something that turned me off from League and something that still kind of does is how hard it is to acquire BE.
