Opinion: Neeko Isn't OP, You Just Don't Know How to Play Against Her

I have seen this a lot today. I have fought Neeko and I have played Neeko. She feels really fun to play against and really fun to play. I would argue that she is the most balanced or one of the most balanced to come out in a long time. Neeko is a burst mage, and her Q-E combo does not burst from 0-100 like a burst mage is supposed to do. So, that is why her ult has a low CD and high damage. She needs her ult to burst you down fully, which is her job.

Just like Lux, or Syndra or others, I cannot think of.

She has a better shield on her (unstoppable) ult than full tank Nunu gets on his :thinking:

Her numbers are beyond over the top.

Shes bursting as hard as release zoe with 2 spells lmao, its not balanced in the slightest.

i will wait to see her more. i think low elos reviews are unreliable... mainly when the champ just released.

Neeko is actually incredibly balanced. Her early clears are slow so she isn’t too oppressive in ganks (and has to rely on her passive) and she scales up nicely to late game. A very well designed champ.

Agreed. Her ult is the only overloaded thing but it’s not like a dash burst so even that isn’t impossible to play around.

Here is also a tip, when fighting neeko, think of what the neeko player is trying to do to trick you.

ok but com'on, why can any given mage have a nuke(neeko r) and have no cd on it while being able to hide the channel AND to top it all off use hourglass during the channel and not cancel it
