"I'm not lying. I saw something out there."

"You kidding? Out here? People don't just float on the water."

"He wasn't floating. He was standing! As if he was walking! On the ocean! And he had a big hat! And orange eyes! I swear I saw it!"

"I think you've had too much ale for tonight. Maybe you should get some shuteye. We'll be at Bilgewater by sunrise."

".....I- Alright. Good night."

Thump.

"What was that?"

"Is someone on the deck?"

"You are trespassing on my waters."

"W-Who are you?"

"I am the Gatekeeper."

"Of what?!"

"That is none of your concern. Turn your ship around."

"We have important cargo going to Bilgewater. We are NOT turning around our ship. Don't think you can tell my ship what to d--"

Fwoosh.

"Y-You just incinerated our captain!"

"Turn your ship around."

Zuka is a spectral gatekeeper that floats around the waters inbetween the Blue Flame Islands and the Shadow Isles. He has a ranged attack and utilizes mana for his abilities.

Passive: Spectral Essence Every 10 seconds, Zuka charges a shield that absorbs 10% of the first source of damage that hits him, and slows the source. This shield can only be generated out of combat.

Q: Flame Watcher Zuka shoots a ball of flame at the target area, dealing damage to all units it hits on the way, then dealing magic damage to enemies caught in the blast upon impact and stunning them for 0.25 seconds. It leaves a ball of flame that Zuka has vision of the area it is in. It lasts 8 seconds before exploding again, leaving an AOE of scorched ground, dealing damage to enemies inside of it over time for 4 seconds.

W: Shambles Zuka shoots eight chains out in a octagonal formation, each chain dealing damage to the first enemy hit, then pulling them over him and directly on the opposite side of where they were pulled.

E: Dark Tide Zuka summons a slowly growing tide at target location, counting as impassable terrain for 2 seconds, then crashing forward, dealing minor magic damage and fearing enemies hit for 1/1.25/1.50/1.75/2 seconds

R: Close the Gates Zuka summons a large circumference of a gate in a huge AOE area (Larger than Trundle W, it can cover an entire section of the jungle) that reveals everything inside of it for 10 seconds. Enemies attempting to walk out of the gates will be dealt a large portion of magic damage, and additional magic damage over time within 3 seconds, and are pinged on the minimap when they step out. Zuka can activate this ability again ONCE while this is active to dash at an incredible speed to the nearest enemy champion within the gates.

I like the theme, but everything feels a bit strong.

His passive reminds me of Fiddlesticks's, only with a continuous empowerment.

Q looks a lot like Karma's R-Q ability, with continuous damage instead of slows.

W is rediculously strong, to the point of being an ult in and of itself.

Actually, his E seems fine to me in strength. Only, it is his only ability that handles the fact that he's a deity of the water, seeming out of place in relation to the damnation feel of the rest of his abilities.

R is rediculously strong. It seems like a blown up mix of Veigar's W and TwistedFate's R, both of which are already really strong. Perhaps, for a less OP and more thematically interesting ult, how about having it as a two activation ability, where both set up pillars, from which a gate shoots closed after a delay, knocking enemies aside, dealing damage, and stunning those caught in the center as well as creating a short lived bit of terrain?

Nice picture XD I used the same for Riok.

Anyways, I don't usually do reviews, but I felt interested after seeing the same picture used by my champion xD

Passive: Seems alright, but also incredibly OP at the same time. My question is this. Is the passive ALWAYS working or no? Meaning, while in combat is that 10s counting down till the next shield or is it only when out of combat? If it's in combat then it can be (Imo) incredibly OP. Imagine a champion almost always slowed while in combat with this guy. That is insane CC. How long does the slow last and how strong is the slow is the other thing? Stating these things would be useful. Otherwise imo the passive is a very huge CC power that has almost no counter besides Yi's Highlander and a few items that reduce slows.

I would suggest it only being allowed to charge while out of combat (Not attacking or getting attack), or possibly make it a stack thing. Every basic attack or hit of an ability gives him a stack up to a max of 5-10. At the max stacks he gains the shield and all the bonuses that come with it. That's just me. You don't have to do that though. Just a suggestion. Make the slow a short one with medium strength (Max of 30-40%). Or make it strong with a very short duration (Like Talon's E).

Q This thing. While I love it (I've thought of similar abilities), this is potentially extremely OP. It deals damage as it travels, damage at impact, damage over time, and then damage again after a few seconds. That's pretty much Viktor's enhanced death beam on steroids. It deals damage 4 times, and the most I've known an ability to do is (Maybe) 3? 2 is the most normally. I love the ability though.

I myself would keep the damage during travel and at impact, keep the damage over time but keep it a low amount and short duration (3-5s max). As for the explosion I would make it stun enemies for 0.25s if they are near it. However, even that is stretching it since that's a lot of effects in a spell. To me it's kinda like Lux's slow but without the slow and damage. I've been told that an ability should never have 4 or more effects (Unless special conditions are met).

Personally I would do damage on travel and impact. Remove damage over time during that part. Of course, it can still stay and grant vision. Then after exploding it would scorch the ground and deal damage over time to enemies. That's just me though.

W Interesting ability. Nice control. My question. Does it place them at the same distance away from where they were grabbed on the opposite side or no? Still, an interesting ability. Should be used strategically or could end up hurting yourself. Other question, are the chains aimable? While keeping the same shape, can you spin the chains around or is it fixed? If that made sense.

E Reminds me of Mizura another champion, but also very different. I am not referencing to say "I did it first." No, I am referencing because it reminds me of it and I like it. I always liked the thought of a whirlpool ability.

My questions are "How big is the radius?" and "How long does it last?" and "Is the damage large or small?". Currently this could be potentially OP or pretty good at control. I like it, but just questions needing answers for me.

Ultimate: R So this is pretty much Veigar's W with a teleport that is instant. Which is pretty strong with that stun. Also, how big of a radius? Like a camp radius or an entire section (Like, the ENTIRE Jungle of bottom or top)? That would be good to specify. Something as big as one of the four jungle sections with a stun and teleport can be ridiculous to catch an entire team. That would be....very strong.

Conclusion: I think this guy is a huge CC nightmare. Hard to get away from or even move around due to all the slows and CC. Especially depending on how that passive is working. Lead with E centered on you with melee champions, followed by that Q into W would damage, disorient, slow, and hamper and entire team. Depending on Cooldowns and costs this guy could potentially slow, rearrange, disable, and damage the enemy team by himself.

The only counter I see to him current is a tank with HEAVY health and insane CC himself, that an Yi with highlander. Depending on this guys stats he could be really difficult to use. As also stated. Being a person who has to deal with water he only has one ability dealing with that. I understand the E, Q, and R because "Watcher" he is a gate keeper and needs to "watch" and the ultimate being his gate, and the E having to deal with water, but I don't see much where the W fits in.

Overall I like the concept, but currently I think he has the potential to be extremely OP CC wise to the point of no one can move around him except Yi.

I have updated the E so it is STILL water based, but fits in with the rest of the abilities.
