{Champion Concept} Scrius, Corruption's edge

Hello! These are ideas for a champion concept of mine i have been working up recently.

Keep in mind that these are no more than ideas, so there's no scalings or lore yet, but give your thoughts and ideas on these abilities please!

Scrius is an AP bruiser who gets close and personal to apply stacks of his passive to get kills. The Gimmick of this character is that he's capable of making it harder for Summoners to play their champion, as his corruption slowly takes away any control they have. He carries a Sword on his back, named Removal's Edge, however, uses his fist to do most of the fighting.

Passive: Corrupted Relations Upon dealing damage to an enemy unit, they gain a stack of Corrupted Relations. For every stack of Corrupted Relations a target has, a portion of their current hp is converted into corrupted HP over time. When Half of the targets current Hp is Corrupted, the target becomes Partially Corrupted, giving them a .25 second delay before all auto attacks and abilities When All of the targets current HP is corrupted, the target becomes Fully Corrupted, giving them a .75 second delay before all auto attacks and abilities, and giving Scrius a moderate shield for a period of time.

Q: Glitch Step Scrius blinks a short distance in any direction, granting him bonus damage on his next auto, and making it so that half the stacks of Corrupted Relations the target he autos has is transferred to all nearby foes. If The target is Fully Corrupted, This will grant ALL stacks of Corrupted Relations to nearby foes.

W: Removal's Edge Scrius selects a target, then puts his hand on his blade, readying his strongest attack for 1s. If Scrius is to take damage during this, the attack will be cancelled, but the blade will remove all damage, rendering Scrius invulnerable for a short period of time. If Scrius is successful with his attack, he pulls out his blade and quick slashes the target, dealing 100% of their corrupted HP as true damage before sheathing his blade.

E: Manipulation Plane Scrius sends distorted energy out of his fist to a targeted area, distorting the relation between the enemy summoners and champions in that area. Upon every 3rd auto attack or ability an enemy does within the Manipulation Plane, they'll take damage based on a percentage of their corrupted hp, and their action will be randomly replaced with something else, such as auto attacking another target or casting another ability entirely. If the target is Partially Corrupted, This will happen on every other Auto attack or ability If the target is Fully Corrupted, This will happen on EVERY Auto Attack and ability

R: Catalyst Wave/Input's Sunder R1: Scrius hits the ground, sending out a wave of corruption that speeds up the rate an enemy's current hp is turned into corrupted hp by 2x/3x/4x R2: Scrius pulls out his blade and dashes forward, hitting all foes in his path. If a champion is hit by Input's Sunder, their relation to their Summoner is severed. (What this means is that the champion will be controlled by AI rather than the player for a period of time) The duration of the Input's Sunder doubles if the target is Partially Corrupted and lasts until they die if the target is Fully Corrupted

Let me know what you think, and if you have ideas or questions about any part of this Kit, please say them or ask! I'll be happy to answer.

Hey there! Chubby here with some insight on your champion! I'm currently taking care of my 3 niece and nephews so this might sound a little less organized compared to some of my previous reviews. Never the less, I will give it my all :D Let's get started!

For starters you should, rename the portion of the passive where it delays their attacks to "disarm" and the delay to their spells as "silence" just to help people better visualize. These are the official names of the debuffs that your champion is applying anyways lol. Since this passive function off damage dealt, not just auto attacks, we have to be very cautious to not overbuff his abilities. If one is able to half health the enemy champion then there would be no counter play to his passive since their current health would be 50% which means Corrupted Relations has to work even less to achieve its effect. The shield you gain when a champion is fully corrupted seems a little overkill. At max stacks you should already have the upper hand since you're disarming and silencing the enemy champion, so the shield is just there to make sure that you WIN that fight which is unnecessary. By all means you can keep it in the kit, but I doubt you'll need it. Most people would just run away from you lol. Just keep that in mind.

Q (Glitch Step): Nice! Bruisers now a days always come with some form of gap closer (it's almost as if it's a requirement), and this ability is in theme of spreading corruption so it's extra nice! No complaints! Keep it!

W (Removal's Edge): This ability needs some slight tuning in order to push it towards a healthier direction. For starters, he channels for 1 second, and while most channels are easy to punish, Scrius actually isn't punished... he's rewarded... so if the ability goes through he gains something and if the ability doesn't go through he still gains something. See where I'm going with this? The interaction of this ability is also something that needs to be further explored. Is this a targeted ability? Is this a dash? Is this a skill shot? 1 second isn't a long time to wait and for the pay off (100% corrupted HP as true damage) this ability is borderline broken. You can do several things to keep this ability in check, but I'll suggest just two! You can either make it so that this is a skill shot (similar to Fiora's W) to allow for some counter play, or (what I highly suggest) make this ability scale. Instead of saying that it does 100% corrupted HP true damage, you could say that it does 15/25/35/45/55% of corrupted HP as true damage. 100% is a too much lol. That's basically saying that all the damage that you inflict is essentially true damage.

E (Manipulation Plane): A ground target ability that punishes champions that stay on it. Very simple and clear, but the punishment feels a little clunky. For starters, it's ground targeted, meaning that enemies will just exit the affected area so at best this would just be a good zoning tool. The fact that the opponent has to auto 3 times, twice, or just once depending on their state of corruption offers a large window of opportunity for them NOT to auto attack. I feel like you're on to something in terms of trying to disconnect the champion from the summoner (the status affect "fear" comes to mind), but I don't think this is the way to go. It needs to be more reliable, because as it's written this ability has too much counter play. Yes, I am actually suggesting you BUFF this ability lol. Others may argue that forcing someone to auto attack, or even worse cast spells is a horrible design... they obviously don't know what this champion was meant to do lol. He's suppose to do that, but right now he won't be able to achieve it. Find a way to either make this effect take place quicker, or another application (ex. a skill shot). But I would also lower it to just one random auto attack or one random ability (we can't have you forcing the enemy to waste all of their abilities, that would be broken).

R (Catalyst Wave/Input's Sunder): Since I don't quite know the rate of corruption I can't say if this speed is too much or not enough, so I'll skip this for now. The second activation hits hard, a little too hard :/. This is basically a gap closer followed by a stun (the inability to control your champion). Even if AI begins to control the champion this is pretty much a stun as it removes the control from the player, and as proposed when fully corrupted, this is a stun until the champion dies lol. NO, big fat no lol. We need to tone this down by a lot to make it playable.

Hopefully this was of some use to you. I know this was posted a while ago, and I apologize for taking this long to reach your post, but I got here :D. I hope to hear from you soon! Maybe we could talk more about your champion concept! Let me know! Cheers!
