Champion concept - a parasite support (no name yet)

Edit: changed the concept from a parasite to a ghost. and now it focuses on supporting when possessing and ccing when not.

P - Ghost: you are a ghost, making you very fragile. therefore health and resistance increase are X% less effective on you, but you have the ability to possess allies. while Possesing an ally champ, you heal for 1% of your max HP per second. you take X% of the damage your Possesed ally takes.

Q1 - Possess: you posses an ally champion, fusing your body with his, increasing your ally's movespeed and max hp by X. while possessing, you gain new basic abilities. Q2 - Release: Relese yourself from your ally to a target location. enemies hit by you are damaged for X damage and are slowed.

W1 - pressure - build up pressure around you for 3 seconds. enemies around you are slowed over the duration the more time they stay close. after 3 seconds you release the pressure with a big shout, making enemies in the area take X damage and get feared for 1 second. W2 - Arua: you create a strong arua around you and your possesed ally that shields you for X for 5 seconds. while the shield holds your ally gains increased hp regen.

E1 - Rotting vile: send out a vile of rotten gas to a targeted area damaging all enemies hit and giving them a stack of 'Decay'. after 3 stacks of 'Decay' the enemies are rooted for X seconds. enemies cannot get 'Decay' for X seconds after they are rooted. E2 - Wind resistance: you strengthen your bond with your possesed ally, giving him the ability to pass through units and a burst of movement speed for 2 seconds.

R - Neatherworld - passive: you are hard to hit, giving you the ability to dodge incoming attacks and spells for 1 second every X/X/X seconds Active: when possessing an ally you make them one with the Neatherworld giving them the ability to dodge all attacks and spells for X seconds, but also unable to attack or use spells. you can end this effect early.

as you can see, in this version, this champ has two roles. one is to know which ally needs his help the most and posses him to give him shield and hp and the bonus movement speed. also, when you see an ally that is in a big trouble you can use Neatherworld to save him by giving him invincibility but at the cost of not being able to deal any damage in return. the second role is to help crowd controling the enemies and help dealing damage. his E has a very short cooldown and a reasonable AoE so that he can snare enemied while also dealing damage. also, he can use his W to slow down enemies and fear them if they stay too close. because of his passive and his ability to get in or out of the fight very quickly with his Possession ability he is a champ that is very hard to kill, therefore he cant be allowed to be too tanky. he must have a very core weakness of being very squishy, but because he also have to be in the fight if he want to use all of his abilities to the fullest he cant be too fragile or else he will die in a single burst in an instant. that is why he has his Neatherworld passive. even though he is easy to kill if focused or if he is out op position or alone, he wont die right away thanks to that passive.

I'm not really sure if the theme of a "parasite" really gets across here. I mean "bubbles" and "Acid" as a means of attack aren't really typical of a parasite....

I like the idea of latching onto your ADC and literally being a part of them and it seems like it would be super fun to use (especially the ult the ult is perfectly within theme and it seems like it would be so much fun)

But if I were you I'd work on researching parasites and figuring out how they actually work. That way you can build a theme around the character that fits.

Theme is a huge thing for Rito so theme is what you need.

Technically the term "parasite" refers to: "non-mutual symbiotic relationship between species" So using this to attack an enemy champion could be seen as theme-worthy. Something like throwing other smaller parasites at them in big clumps or pools that do damage over time. Or some form of parasite that could effect them in a negative way such as inhibiting movement (slows/stuns/roots) or even vision (blinds) would all be within theme of a "parasite"

You need to remember that parasites typically don't harm their host in a major way it's almost always a minor way. Parasites very rarely actually kill their host as they depend on the host to live (literally, that's the entire point of a parasite it lives off a host animal) So it would be best to use this theme wise to justify hard forms of CC and protective measures but not lethal ones.

  • Slows could be justified by the parasite modifying muscle tissue
  • Damage reduction could be justified by the parasite modifying muscle tissue (of enemy champ)
  • Damage TAKEN reduction could be justified by the parasite adding to muscle tissue or producing a protective layer of film around their host
  • Stuns could be justified by the parasite effecting the brain or the joints/bones
  • Damage amplification could be justified by the parasite modifying muscle tissue in a positive way
  • Blinds could be justified by the parasite effecting the optic nerve or covering the eye in some way (perhaps with a film of some biological make)

Do a bit of research into how parasites work. Look at every (popular) parasite and especially focus on ones that change the biology of their host this can help you determine what fits theme wise for your champions abilities.

(Also try to avoid worms as a visual theme for your parasite based champion. There are far more creative ways you can demonstrate a parasite worms are just the most common. that being said worms might also fit the theme better than say a head-lice type creature so.)

Sounds like an excellent way to bring Mordekaiser back into the duo lane.

I got a name for. AFK. jk. But tbh i dont know how this would do in solo q. You would need so much comunication with your team. However the kit does seem cool.

too me this basically seems like all you want to do is attach to your adc, why not make it so that when he isen`t possessing his adc he can deal tons of damage but die super fast, or cling to an ally and buff them while staying alive still rly cool

I love the idea just gonna need some clarification. Passive: is it %damage you take instead of them or %damage you also take? Q nice. W1 is fun and feels nice W2 is ok i don't feel it really embodies spooky ghosty but it is different. E1 what would the decay and stack rate of decay? I like this one. E2 neat. Depending on the cd could be really strong. R1 feels too much like malz passive imho. R2 this would be neat and fun but same annoyance as R1. All and all pretty fun.
