Tysus, The Scale of Good and Evil

Lore: She had dreams of a pleasant angel. Bright green eyes, blue wings, and a golden halo whispering a beautiful chant. And suddenly her dream turned to a nightmare. The angel's eyes turned completely black, his skin pale, his wings turned black enveloped by flames, and he held a sword comprised of flame. He started killing all of her loved ones. The Angel went through a door after murdering them and when she chased him the door closed before she could exit and her mind grew dark. Tysus had arisen, a being out of the beautiful girl's evil essence. Even Virgil was confused on why this nightmare had become a being of it's own will and not a monster under his control, no matter what Virgil tried to do he could not control Tysus.

Tysus follows a flaming path to the cold mountains of Cortus where an old monk temple lies frozen over. The ice melted around the structure as he stood on the statue of balanced scales. "Why am I here Spirit?" he calls out to her.

Luna: Because you are a part of me, our souls are linked. I wanted to see you. Tysus: There is nothing you can do, the damage has been done, you cannot cease my existence. Luna: I do not wish to, I simply want to stop you from harming anymore people. Virgil is very dangerous and you know what he is up to and a part of it eats at you. Tysus: laughs you naïve girl, I love this!!!

He quickly lunges at her with his sword striking the wall as she wisps away. She then lays her hands on him and enters his body. She sees out of his eyes, she feels what he feels, and she sees deep within him. Within the darkness there is a speckle bringing some light into his soul. "Get out of me foul girl!" he screams projecting her out of his body and her passing through a wall. "woah!" she gasps, "I can go through walls now! Neat!" She knows that she has to bring out that speckle in him, but how? She devises a plan.

"Come out little girl, where are you!" Tysus screamed violently. Luna started pulsating light to draw his attention to a corridor. He chased her into the corridor and she sank through the wall ending back up the scales they originally started this conflict at. She started to pulsating light again and he followed her back to the scales. They stare at each other violently, one on each scale, and charge at each other. He stabbed at her, and without intention her body splits into many light particles and she ends up behind him. She is stunned but she enters him one last time. Pulsating light inside his body. He starts screaming in pain and forces her out. Half of his appearances change, his eye turns a bright green, he gains half halo, his wing turns bright blue and looks fuller, his skin gains color. Luna smiles at him, "My work here is done" and with that her body turns into many light particles and she leaves.

Standing alone in the temple Tysus looked at the giant scales before him with deep thought. He is confused and perplexed on what happened and what he is feeling in this moment. He looks to the scales, drops his weapon and falls to his knees, tears dropping from his eyes. He had been touched.

Passive: Eternity Scales Tysus has a unique resource bar that starts from the middle and can reach either 100 affinity, 100 infamy, pr mixed. This is all dependent on the way he uses his spells to either help allies or hurt enemies. All of his AP scalings are dependent on this scale. (examples to come in later texts) The strategy in his scale balancing relies on the Team comp, also his ultimate will change depending on the scale. Also you can build him full damage or full Support by using your spells accordingly. By maxing out a scale in either direction you will see huge AP ratios but at the cost of losing your other half.

Q: Affinity Mark or Infamy Mark When cast on enemy: Deals 90/140/190/240/290(+.1 AP per 10 Infamy points) damage over 4 seconds When cast on Ally: Grants a shield of 40/80/120/160/200(+.1 per 10 Affinity points) and 4/6/8/10/12

Example: This is where I'll Explain the Math -If Tysus has 100 infamy points and uses Q on an emey the scaling will be at 1.0. -If Tysus has 100 affinity points and grants an all a shield the shield will have a 1.0 scaling. Here is where it can get interesting -If Tysus has 70 Infamy points and 30 Affinity points the scaling on his Infamy mark will be a .7 scaling. while his shield will get an additional .3 scaling and the MS will be 6% per 100 AP.

W: Linked Souls Passive: When Tysus Casts an ability on an Ally he gets 60/70/80/90/100% of that buff on himself according to his Scales. When Tysus deals spell damage to an enemy he gains 4/5/6/7/8/9 Attack speed that Stacks up to 10 times.

E: Relentless pursuit Cast on Enemy: Tysus dashes to an Enemy dealing 60/100/140/180/220(+.1 AP per 10 Affinity points) damage to them and slowing their movement speed by 20/25/30/35/40%. Cast on ally: Tysus Dashes to an ally healing them for 30/50/70/100/130(+.1 per 10 Affinity)

R: Tipping of the Scales When Tysus has fully maxed either Affinity or Infamy he changes forms that remain until he purposely removes them. BUT while in neutral scales he can cast a spell that will put his ultimate on Cooldown

True Evil: Tysus transforms into a demonic monster, changing to melee and gaining 30/50/70 (.3 AP) magic damage on auto attacks. When using Relentless Pursuit after his dash is complete he gains 15% MS when walking toward that enemy. When Using Infamy Mark he deals 4/6/8% more damage to the target of his spell. Additionally Tysus leaves a trail of fire that burns enemies for 10/20/30 (+.2AP) magic damage a second.

True Good: Tysus transforms into an Angelic being, healing the lowest % health champion by 30/50/70/100/130 (+.5AP) with Linked Souls applying. Additionally When Tysus uses Relentless pursuit on an Ally he links souls with that ally for 6 seconds redirecting 5/10/15% of the damage they would have taken to Tysus. When using Affinity Mark on an ally it also shields nearby allies by a quarter of the amount and granting a slight MS buff.

Neutral Scaling: Tysus shoots extremely 4 large range missiles that hit the first ally and enemy they find dealing 100/200/300 (+.1 per scales)damage to enemies and healing 80/160/240 (+.1 scales) to allies.

Please read: due to comments I have changed the Q and removed scaling on MS and changed ultimate to make it more appealing, I proly need to tone numbers back.

All in all, it sounds very interesting. However, I would remove the move speed based on affinity, as he already has a gap close ability, and it seems redundant and over-complicates the champion.

First of all, amazing concept of the good evil thing.

A few things:

  1. If he has AP scaling, why does his W for Infamy give attack speed?
  2. His True Evil gives magic damage on hit, possibly something more?
  3. How much of each resource does he get for using spells? How much does it take away from one side if he uses the other's spell?
  4. What is your main theme for this champion? Do you want them to be human? A Mid/Support? Top?
  5. What are the cooldowns?

I'm gonna try to rewrite this just a bit for suggestions.


Passive: Eternity's Scales Tysus has a unique resource bar that starts at center (0) and can reach either 100 affinity, 100 infamy, pr mixed. Tysus will gain 2 Infamy per offensive spell cast, and 2 Affinity per defensive spell cast. Having points in one side and casting a spell allocated to the opposite side will deduct 2 of that sides resource. [Editor's notes: The beginning paragraph doesn't need as much explaining, they will understand as they read.]


Q: Affinity Mark or Infamy Mark When cast on enemy: Deals 80/130/180/230/280 (+.1 AP per 10 Infamy points) damage over 4 seconds. When cast on Ally: Grants a shield of 50/90/130/170/210 (+.1 AP per 10 Affinity points) that lasts for 4 seconds.

Example: -If Tysus has 100 infamy points and uses Q on an emey the scaling will be at 1.0. -If Tysus has 100 affinity points and grants an all a shield the shield will have a 1.0 scaling. -If Tysus has 70 Infamy points and 30 Affinity points the scaling on his Infamy mark will be a .7 scaling. while his shield will get an additional .3. [Editor's notes: Building him AP support can get up to around 200-300 AP, and at full Affinity that is an almost 510 point shield. The movement speed makes it a bit overloaded.]


W: Linked Souls Passive: When Tysus Casts an ability on an Ally he gets a portion of that buff on himself according to his Scales. When Tysus deals spell damage to an enemy he gains passive Attack speed that Stacks to a cap. [Editor's notes: This seems like quite a linear and simple ability, it being only a passive. Perhaps try to think of another thing?]


E: Destined Link Cast on Enemy: Tysus links himself to the enemy with a channel of Infamy and pulls himself to them dealing X damage to them and slowing their movement speed by Y. Cast on ally: Tysus links himself to the ally with a channel of Affinity and pulls himself to the ally healing them for 30/50/70/100/130(+.1 per 10 Affinity [Editor's notes: just trying to make his abilities more unique and themed.]


R: True Form When Tysus has fully maxed either Affinity or Infamy he changes forms that remain until he purposely removes them, but he can also cast his ultimate if he is in a neutral scale as a spell with a cooldown.

True Evil: Tysus transforms into a demonic monster, changing to melee and gaining X magic damage on auto attacks. In this form, Tysus gains 5% movement speed every auto attack and leaves a trail of nullification behind him, creating a silence zone. This zone will only silence those who are in it, and champions who leave the zone will cease to be silenced. The trail decays after 2 seconds.

True Good: Tysus drains himself to lend his allies strength. Every 0.5 seconds Tysus gives 5% of every stat (except movement speed) to allies in a radius for 10 seconds, draining himself of all stats by the end of the cast. During this time, every second Tysus gains 7% movemet speed. At the end of the cast, Tysus regains his stats from his allies.

Neutral Scaling: Tysus shoots extremely 4 large range missiles that hit the first ally and enemy they find dealing damage and healing dependent on his scales. [Editor's notes: maybe something different for this one?]
