Map Themes/Skins: Where To Expand League of Legends
######^ Continued from this thread. This should also be in the Maps & Modes sub-section but it concerns both and I assume most people come in Skin & Champion Concepts.
#New Map Themes or New Champions? Between these two, which direction do you think Riot Game should take and how? Why? To add variety or visuals and sounds and fundamentally increase value of all the game's monetary content. Basically, make the game and experience better. Will it be worth it? I believe it will be providing everything else is supporting a quality game. By this I refer to consistency {again} to be worth repeatedly immersing into these experiences without that drudging feeling of intolerance to an infuriating game system.

#What if...
- What if ... by selecting skins in champion-select lobby prompts an automated randomized vote for a map theme associated for those selected skins?
- What if ... the majority of PROJECT skins increased the likely vote for a PROJECT map theme.
- What if ... those map themes are so immersed with the chosen skin it would include Music & Announcer variations. (consequently the value of DJ Sona music will be in question)
- How can this system be made more consistent?
#What will this do? Variety that will vastly improve the game on so many levels. Increase value of all those skins across the board (increased consistent RP sales?). Possibly even sustain an increased/increasing playerbase; increased profit yield?. You know.. That kind of stuff.
We have enough champions. Most of the older champion's old kits need updating. They just don't meet today's needs anymore. Personally, I';d want them to stop making new champions just for a year or two and rework existing champions. A majority of the community may have voted for 'new champions' in their surveys. Well, maybe those surveys themselves could be heavily criticized e.g. lacking survey options or misleading a disproportionate vote for something not necessary.
There are so many champions with all varying different backgrounds that it could actually be diluting the immersive experience and consistency of the fictional world that our beloved champions come from. The value that story and lore provides in enhancing a player's experience could be spoiled if not already. The value must be considered by Riot Game carefully as part of their optimizing their product League of Legends. Adding new champions with completely cryptic, inconsistent and some underwhelming fiction will eventually stimulate disappointment .. if not already. Map themes reflecting the fictional world will help.
I argue for them to change from accumulating a mess to improving the mass of this game.
