Rengar can jump from bushes so would it be okay if riot made a champion that can surf? There are many champions that can interact with the terrain but we still haven't see a surfing champ, I think It'd be a cool idea :D
Yeah, as Qetzel stated. Bushes are universal between maps. That said champions "Surf" would be useless on any map besides Summoner's Rift, and although the river takes up a segment of the map, and a decent amount, at that, it isn't enough to merit a champion solely based around it.
I think the difference is that bushes are everywhere but the River is not. It would be difficult to balance the champion such that they are strong enough outside the river area without being overbearing in the river.
This is more of a skin concept rather than a champion idea.
I like the idea. It wouldn't be enough to build a champion around, but giving a champion (Nami?) a move speed buff in the river would make them better at ganking other lanes.
How about Nami's ultimate range is longer when used in River?
