Masq the Illusionist
Masq the Illusionist
Attack Power: 1 Defense Power: 1 Ability Power: 1 Difficulty: 10
Masq is a manaless ranged caster support. She uses charges as her resource, starting the game and respawning with her maximum of 5. Whenever she damages an enemy champion with her basic attack, she gains 1 charge, up to her maximum. Her resource bar is only visible to allied summoners (including her own summoner, of course). For stats other than mana, use Orianna as a pre-playtest baseline.
Mind's Eye (Passive): Right-clicking a living allied champion (including Masq) marks that champion as Masq's Target until that champion dies or another Target is chosen. Her Target is surrounded by a hazy aura only visible to allied summoners. Additionally, Masq's ability icons are surrounded by color coded borders to indicate the status of her Target's abilities: green for ready, yellow for on cooldown, red for missing resources, and grey for unlearned.
Invisibility (Q): Cost: 1 charge Range: Global Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Masq channels for 1 second during which she and her Target are each surrounded by a pulsing aura visible to any summoner who has vision of those champions. If the channel is not interrupted, her Target gains stealth for (1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 + 1% AP) seconds or until it attacks or uses an ability, whichever comes first.
Doppleganger (W): Cost: 1 charge Range: 3000 Cooldown: 20 seconds Masq creates a copy of her Target at the target location as a controllable champion pet. The copy appears to be made of swirling rainbow colors to allied summoners, but looks exactly like the original champion to enemy summoners and observers. The copy has all the same stats as the original champion including current health and resource levels, but the copy's basic attacks deal no damage and the copy's vision range is restricted to (100 + 100% AP) units. Because the copy counts as a champion, it can be selected as Masq's Target. The copy is worth no gold or experience if killed, otherwise it last for 6/7/8/9/10 seconds. This spell has no cast time or animation.
Bluff (E): Cost: 1 charge Range: 1000 Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds After a .5 second swirling animation on her Target visible only to allied summoners, Masq empowers her Target to use an illusionary copy of one of her Target's learned abilities (champion pets, including those created by Doppelganger, have the same abilities as the champions they're copies of), ignoring any associated costs and cooldowns. The copy reproduces the animations and sounds of the original ability for up to (2 + 1% AP) seconds, but does not deal any damage, provide any healing, apply any crowd control effects, or trigger any interactions with her Target's other abilities. Any shields created by the copy will appear to affect the shielded champion's health bar only to the enemy team and observers, and will not absorb any damage (damage dealt reduces both the shielded champion's actual hp and the illusory shield's hp). Any pets created by the copied ability do no damage, apply no crowd control effects, and award no gold or experience if killed. If Masq's target is an allied summoner's champion, that summoner will see their abilities appear available and covered in shiny, rainbow-colored animations to indicate that their next ability will be an illusion, otherwise Masq's abilities are replaced by her Target's abilities until she copies one of them. This spell has no cast time or animation.
Forceful Illusions (R): No cost Cooldown: 60/50/40/30 Masq starts with 1 free point in Forceful Illusions at level 1. This spell has no cast time or animation. Passive: Forceful Illusions' cooldown is reduced by (1% AP) seconds each time she damages an enemy champion with her basic attack. Active: Empowers her next basic ability with an enhanced effect and a drawback: Invisibility: Her Target's attacks and ability uses don't break the stealth, but the channel time is doubled. Doppelganger: The copy's basic attack damage and vision range are unrestricted, but a champion who kills the copy is awarded 50 gold. Bluff: The copied ability functions as a full copy of the original ability, different only in that the copy still ignores the original's cost and cooldown. Forceful Illusions' cooldown is increased by the original ability's cooldown (applying Masq's CDR, not her Target's).
