Hello, everyone and welcome to my second Community Champion Creation post! For those of you who may have missed the first one here's the link: (https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/EfRqyNUq-champion-concept-zale-the-ocean-guard). Go there and read the first part to figure out what these posts are all about, and the second half to learn about my first champion. Really, even if you don't look at the champion, without reading the first half you won't know what I'm doing.

My name is JamesDrake9, and it's diver time!

While all of these champions have a part of me in some way, Briar is me. He's who I'd want to be if I was born on Runeterra. His element is wood, or plants, or whatever. Basically, he has control over plants and slight terrain control. I used to call him an earth champion but it didn't seem quite right. Anyways, his weapon of choice is dual swords, and his familiar is Rowan, the Tremor Wolf. As he is right-handed, his right sword is slimmer and longer, more suited for attacking, while his left sword is the opposite, more suited for taking hits. His role is the jungle.

Now for his abilities. His passive is the one thing I know about him. People are gonna say it's similar to Kindred, but Rowan follows him around constantly, acting like an Ivern 's R: Daisy! or Annie 's R: Summon:Tibbers, only permanent. Movement and attacks are controllable, and stats scale off of Briars. If He's killed he'll either respawn after a short time or immediately in the fountain.

Other abilities included a short dash that dealt damage in an arc in front of Briar. This also had at times a healing effect of some sort or could be used multiple times. There was a tremor that would go out in three waves from Briar and Rowan's position, like a Rammus's R: Tremors combined with a Nautilus's E: Riptide. There was also a very confusing ability where Briar would place a seed at a target location, which would activate and grow a vine when an enemy got near it. The vine would deal damage per second, root the first enemy hit, and sprout another vine after a second delay on the other side of the champion. The same root could root multiple enemies within X seconds, and the same enemy couldn't be rooted twice by the same effect within X seconds. If the enemies left the surrounding area, the vines regressed, becoming seeds again. They could be spotted by sweeper and control wards and had ward health and a timer. Later versions of the roots could also spawn the tremors, and had Briar able to recast the ability near a vine to fling himself forward, bouncing off walls and avoiding enemy contact.

Passive: Rowan, the Tremor Wolf: Brair travels with his pet timber wolf Rowan; is a fully controllable unit utilizing shift click functionality but will automatically attack any enemy within 500 units of Briar or any unit that damages Braliar, Rowan's stats scales 30% of Briars except for his AD which is 50% of Briar's AP, Rowan has three hit bars and deals mainly physical damage.

[Q] Up Root; leaps 500 units in a target direction, goes over walls bringing up 3 waves of roots in a cone traveling 400 units in the direction he traveled dealing 40/65/90/115/140 +30% AP and slowing enemies hit by 20%, each wave deals 30% less damage and hads a 5% weaker slow than the previous with a 10% lower chance of procing. If Rowan is within 60 units he leaps with Briar dealing 30/50/70/90/110+ 30% of Rowan's AD to a 200 unit area and stuns any targets hit.

[w], Tanglevine; Throws a seed 80 units to a target location what acts as a trap first rooting any enemy champions that come within 100 units of it and deals 50/60/70/80/90/100 +10%ap as periodic damage over 4 secs, these vines can spread to other enemy champions within 60 units of the first and root them as well. These seeds can be thrown at Rowan to heal him for 20% of Briar's AP and to make him enter a frenzy state increasing his size and gaining bonus magic damage and movement speed, 50% of all damage dealt by Rowan in this state is restored to Briar as lifesteal and Rowan latches on to the first enemy champion he attacks reducing their movement speed by 60%, champions are released when Rowan is either stunned or killed.

[E] Ambush; Briar plants an ivy bush at a target location. The bush is similar to regular bushes but applies pollen to enemy who walks into them. If the ability is cast on an already existing bush Briar only spores the bush, for the same effects. Pollinated enemies are pinged and revealed on the map. If Rowan is within an ivy bush or a spored bush his next attack is a leap which suppresses an enemy champion for 2 seconds. Pollen: a status that causes units to take 10% bonus damage from all sources.

[R]Keeper of the Grove; Briar empowers his twin swords Oak and Ash, Oak gives Briar 30% physical and magic resistance, while Ash redirects 30% of all damage absorbed by Oak to Brian's primary target. Effects last 40 secs and has a 1.2minit Cool down.

Name: Briar Title/Epithet: The Warrior of the Wood Role: Diver/Jungle Weapon: Dual Swords Familiar: Rowan, the Tremor Wolf Age: 17

Briar was raised in the small village of Woodfield on the northern outskirts of Noxus. Living on a farm, he realized that he had an affinity with plants, and the crops he tended soon became the best sellers in the village. One day a meeting was called in the village square. When Briar and his parents reached the neared the square, it soon became apparent that not all was right. Soldiers lined the edges of the square, and two important looking men stood on the platform in the middle of it. They introduced themselves as General Darius and Jericho Swain. This caused quite a stir. Why would the two most important people in Noxus come here, to one of the city's smallest provinces? Swain soon revealed that he was recruiting for an important battalion, one that would be lead by people with "special skills" and that anyone who wanted to could sign up. Of course, most Noxians would leap at the chance to prove their strength, but Briar wasn't like most Noxians. While all the kids his age were wrestling and sword fighting, Briar preferred to spend time with his plants. This made him a subject of ridicule among his peers, and more than once his garden was victim to a savage "weeding". Briar suspected that Swain knew more than he was letting on, and didn't feel safe. He felt that if he didn't go register, and he didn't want to, Swain would send soldiers to his parent's house and take him by force.

TBC because I don't feel like typing anymore right now. Sorry.

Ok so here's my take Passive Brair travels with his pet timber wolf Rowan; is a fully controllable unit utilizing shift click functionality but will automatically attack any enemy within 500 units of Briar or any unit that damages Braliar, Rowan's stats scales 30% of Briars except for his AD which is 50% of Briar's AP, Rowan has three hit bars and deals mainly physical damage.

[Q] Up Root; leaps 500 units in a target direction, goes over walls bringing up 3 waves of roots in a cone traveling 400 units dealing 40/65/90/115/140 +30% AP and slowing enemies hit by 20%, each wave deals 30% less damage and hads a 5% weaker slow than the previous with a 10% lower chance of procing. If Rowan is within 60 units he leaps with Briar dealing 30/50/70/90/110+ 30% of Rowan's AD to a 200 unit area and stuns any targets hit.

[w], strangle vine; throws a seed 80 units to a target location what acts as a trap first rooting any enemy champions that come within 100 units of it and deals 50/60/70/80/90/100 +10%ap as periodic damage over 4 secs, these vines can spread to other enemy champions within 60 units of the first and root them as well. These seeds can be thrown at Rowan and allies to recover health based on 20% of Briars AP,Rowan enters a frenzy state increasing his size and gaining bonus magic damage and movement speed, 50% of all damage dealt by Rowan in this state is restored to Briar as lifesteal and Rowan latches on to the first enemy champion he attacks reducing their movement speed by 60%, champions are realised when Rowan is either stunned or killed.

[E] Ambush; Briar plants an ivy bush at a target location the bush is similar to regular bushes but grants sight of enemies that stand near/in them and applies pollin; a status that causes units to take 10% bonus damage from all sources. If Rowan is within a bush his next attack is a leap which suppresses an enemy champion for 2 seconds, allies standing in or near ivy bushes gain increased health regeneration.

[R]Keeper of the Grove; Briar equips his Elm armor and birch bark blade, the Elm armor absorbs the impact of abilites causing Briar gaining 30% physical and magic resistance, while the birch bark blade redirects 30% of all damage absorded by the Elm armor to Brian's primary target. Effects last 40 secs and has a 1.2minit Cool down.
