Other items that are exclusive to Summoner Spells

This isn't a list of item ideas, more a discussion piece. The Jungle items have gone relatively well since their addition (barring some balance issues every now and then). The fact that they're tied to Smite has been a good way of balancing then to basically only those who are going to be jungling.

So I got to thinking: What if there were other items exclusive to other Summoner Spells like Heal, Ghost, or Exhaust? For example, the new item could increase Exhausts magic and armour reduction significantly more that what it already does. Or, getting more fancy, it could increase cast time on abilities rather than reducing basic attack speed. Again these are just idea's to get the discussion going.

And ye that's about it. What do you guys think? Interesting? Dumb?

Teleport Boots I miss that. We do have the boots upgrade that grant cooldown on flash and teleport and longer duration on ghost.

UNIQUE Passive - Distortion: Teleport, Flash, and Ghost summoner spell cooldowns are reduced by 15% and are granted additional mobility:

Ghost: Grants 40% Movement Speed from 27%. Flash: 20% Movement Speed bonus for 1 second after cast. Teleport: 30% Movement Speed bonus for 3 seconds after use.

(Unique Passives with the same name don't stack.)

So something like that but for the other summoner spell?

It's an interesting idea, although it would be pretty hard to balance for other summoner spells. Part of the reason why it worked so well for Smite, I think, was that the spell itself was pretty weak on its own before the introduction of the jungle items. Aside from contesting Dragon/Baron, Smite wasn't very useful past the laning phase, and the jungling items helped alleviate that problem. Contrast this to spells like Heal, Exhaust and Ghost, which can be taken by anyone (not just junglers) and already stay relevant throughout the whole game by themselves, and it can easily end up a balancing nightmare. Not saying it can't be done, but items that upgrade summoner spells can be abused pretty easily, especially if the spells in question can be taken by just about anyone and already have enough power in the current meta. Having said that, I could maybe see these items as support-only, so that other champions can't abuse them, while expanding item diversity for supports.
