So I know RiotScarizard already knows of this beautiful artwork (Done by the same person who did the recent Sona splash art!) and I've gotta say, I would DIE and go to HEAVEN if we had this skin for our lovely Tank lady, especially if it were a higher quality skin with added dialogue to it! If there's one thing I enjoy more in video games is the ability to see or have a character in a counterpart from what their normally shown as. Gentleman cho'gath is one of my favorites to this day for that reason. To see the Lady of the light be turned into this wonderful Gothic interpretation... RIOT, I'M THROWING MY WALLET AT THE COMPUTER SCREEN!

If only because the coffin+red dress is reminiscent of Vincent Valentine, who's girlfriend was Lucrecia Cresent.... which could allude to Diana, so pretty much Leona X Diana confirmed.

Saw this one going around on Twitter yesterday and was impressed.

However, one of my personal favorite things about Leona is her more heavy armor feel. For me it somewhat defines her and while skins can always deviate from the norm it would be fantastic to see interpretations of this style into 'dark armor'. It's not often you get to mix organic materials and metal plate together which makes for some very unique opportunities. There is definitely the core of a great idea here.

agree. Shiin just colored this a couple days ago and I'm in love with their work. I really want every support to have a badass evil skin (ps new raka 'evil' skin is kind of tame imo). REAL tired of pretty or re-color skins for supports :/

i don't like it. when i see leona i think of her as a personification of the sun or a warrior of the sun, someone who fights for justice and the rights of others. when i see this skin it makes her look evil or someone who represents death or darkness, characteristics that don't fit leona's character. i think the skin looks awesome and is a great idea but it should be for a different champion who fits the picture better. this is just my opinion though.

I'd like to put an addendum here, and that is, if Riot is ever willing to release this skin in any incarnation, I would hope they would do it in conjunction to that Taric Gravestone concept that floated around forever and a day ago, being both thematically similar, as well, as both being supports, as well as aspects, (apparently?) This would be a cool set.

I love the design, but I can't imagine Leona being like that. I mean, if her quotes will remain the same, doesn't it make her look silly? She will talk about sun and light, while being gothic all the way.

I feel like someone made this in response to the boards post about lore. The author made an example that the surprise reveal of the lore was like if all of a sudden the lore team moved Leona to Noxus and made her all dark (so pretty much this skin minus the coffin)

Thought that Pool Party Leona would be the go to skin, but when I saw this, not only its a skin in a different path for leona, but its gorgeous and works so well!! PLZ RIOT
