so, I remember it being blue to your team for "clarity" reasons, but the in-game-screenshots they show of him in his announcement page show a red gate. Did they change it to be red, or are they showing the Enemy Team's jayce gate just for show for the screenshot?

Yo Dies to Wolves!

His gate is still blue in ally view. The promo did have a screenshot from enemy POV, but it has since been updated to reflect the correct gate color. Sorry for the confusion. :<
