See Silent Night Sona's banner here. I think it would be the most fair thing to do since RP was never refunded (I of course do not blame Riot for not refunding).
I used to love this skin and now I find I play with the Base Splash instead because that skin no longer has any meaning.
Rueian1 votesIf you like the skin, use it. If you dont like the skin, Dont use it. This is why i dislike the fact that there are 'earned' skins like from playing ranked. There is no MEANING behind the skin its just to change your look. Who cares if you have the added vintage banner effect or not, they bought it or got it for free or whatever. Doesn't change how it functions in game.
JacopoPeterman1 votesI realize this. Maybe you do not understand the purpose of the banners. The banners were made so that people who owned the skin which was supposed to be legacy didn't feel cheated when players bought it later when the vault opened up. I feel the same way since now in game I've essentially got the second default skin for Garen and it essentially has lost value.
In game appeal is one element but there is also load screen appeal, (otherwise why even bother having splash arts.)

Rueian1 votesI have so many lagacy skins and I really don't care if every skin was still available or not. Would rather people have a chance to get skins they want. I don't care about the dumb legacy banners. If anything it ruins most of the skin art.
Again... The splash art at loading screen shouldn't matter. At that point you should already be focused on the game at hand
