They wouldn't do this unfortunately because Darth Vader is already inspiration for Kassadin, and it could be perceived as being too close to the original.

Kinjishi1 votesWatched the vid a few times, but it just looks like he is force pushing them while using the hand that has the lightsaber in it. The lightsaber isn't doing any damage nor being used. Just Force abilities.
Dengeden1 votesDid it skip to 11m10s? The problem is, this was gameplay after the guy had unlocked all his forcepowers. In the timestamp I gave, at least he uses his lightsaber on the last stormtrooper.
Force powers become fairly prevalent after a bit how's this tho?

Kinjishi4 votesChosen Master Yi is not a Jedi, but Riot's attempt at portraying one and dancing around the edges of it. His saber alternates colors between Red/Green/Blue (sabers don't do this in SW universe). This also probably helps with avoiding any license attack from Disney, which would get the skin pulled in a blink. Riot probably can't make a lightsaber/laser sword with only one color and have it look like a SW lightsaber without their (Disney's) permission.
