#Hal'Kyr, the Void Twins

Lore: Danis leaned on his axe and wiped his brow. It was exhausting work, clearing land for a farm. The townsfolk were kind enough to accommodate him and his family, providing food and even going so far as to help build their house when they had time. For that reason, he hoped to start producing soon, to repay them. It was never cold here; winter was almost nonexistent. Plants grew and bloomed no matter the time of year. It had been strange to see, at first, after their long trek from the Freljord.

The amount of land he had prepared thus far was less than a quarter of what he had planned, after a quarter of a year. The trees were resilient, and the saplings seemed to sprout up in no time at all. His son was old enough to help clear out the saplings, but it was still slow progress. But now he'd run into a problem.

A circle of stones set into the ground, surrounding a large area. It seemed to have a distinct pattern to it. Cobwebs threaded among and above the stones, which stood perhaps five feet high, blocking the light; he couldn't see anything but darkness in the tiny gaps between strands. There were markings on the stones. They appeared to be ancient runes, worn down by the wind to almost nonexistence.

"I'll clear it tomorrow, I suppose," he said with a sigh. It was approaching dusk, and with the trees blocking the sun it was already turning dark. The trek to the house, more a cabin, took only a few minutes. A testament to how little work he had truly done.

The following morning, he made his way back to the stone formation. He waved his axe at the cobwebs to clear them, then grunted when it bounced back. He drew back and swung the axe down, as if chopping wood. The webs parted. He frowned. Still no light entered the area surrounded by the stones.

That should have been his warning. A signal to leave it alone. But he wanted to do well by the people of the town, repay them for their generosity, and by his wife, pregnant with their second child. Leaving such a large area in the middle of the land he was clearing would significantly reduce the available land, the river bending around, the rapids impassable.

Several more swings cleared away most of the webs. Setting the axe aside, he placed both hands on one of the stones and heaved. It came away surprisingly easily, sending him staggering back as it toppled.

Darkness flooded out of the hole, as if the night was overtaking the morning sun. Instantly, without thought, he turned and ran. Even as terror drove him, he thought first of his family. As soon as he reached the house, he turned. He was blinded as the shadows covered him, and even as he heard his wife and son scream, he was dragged down, as if into the earth itself.

Janet looked up from her sewing at the sound of her husband's boots approaching. He was running. He opened the door in a rush, fear shrouding his eyes, and he turned. Darkness flooded over him, washing toward her as she stood, covering her abdomen as if to protect their unborn child.

As darkness flowed over her, she screamed. The shadows seemed to enter her through her open mouth, flowing through her entire body. She felt her child change inside her. It became two, and tore out of her by force. She would have collapsed, but even as she crumpled down, she started falling. She heard her children laugh, felt them holding on to her, but felt their tears. She closed her eyes, and the darkness covered her mind.

A voice spoke to them. They were one, but two. And it said, "Hal'Kyr." No more. That was their name. Hal turned to look at Kyr as they hovered in the Void. He reached out and touched her face, and felt the touch upon his own face. A sense of wonder washed over them both.

Kyr looked at their parents. As the other creatures of the Void tore into them, she screamed. It was not a scream of terror, nor was it one of sadness. It was a scream of greed, and the other creatures of the Void cowered back. She reached out, and the bodies moved toward her. She placed a hand on their father, and Hal placed a hand on their mother.

Their life essence flowed into Hal'Kyr, and they grew. They looked at each other, and laughed. Somehow they knew that this was the opposite of what was supposed to happen. Hal grew a soft face, long hair, a slender frame. Kyr became muscular, with a square jaw.

"What do we do now?" Hal asked Kyr. She shrugged. "I'm hungry," he said. They looked around at the Void creatures. Hal made a face. "I want real food."

"Then let's leave," Kyr said. "We can find real food out there."

They moved as one, heading to the outside world. They stepped into the light, and it burned them. Kyr raised a hand, and shade covered them. Hal looked around, then pointed. "That way. Food over there."

Together, as one, they set off toward the town.

Appearance Their splash art would be the two of them standing back-to-back.

Hal looks closer to a human, and almost like a woman—taller than Kyr, with long black hair, and a slender frame with no breasts. His eyes are a deep purple, with no whites or pupils. A few tendrils of a dark shell rise up out of his clothes and coil around his neck. He has the hand furthest from the splash art's PoV (the left hand) raised, and shadows are flowing out (think flamethrower, but with darkness), rushing over some people wielding farming instruments.

Kyr is very slightly shorter, with a heavier build, almost unnoticeable breasts. The Void-looking shell covers her upper arms and some of her forearms, and she wields a large sword of the same material, and is cutting down one of the people fighting them. Her eyes are black, and her hair is short interrupted in places by thin filaments of the shell.

They both wear normal clothes, torn in many places, and underneath the tears is mostly the Void exoskeleton, with only hints of human skin. In the background of the splash art, a village is burning, and bodies litter the ground. A smoky haze obscures most of the background, leaving only somewhat vague outlines in places.


In-game, they jointly control a single body that changes based on which one is present at a time. It looks similar to them as they appear in the splash art, but with shifting shadows wrapping around the body. When they combine, the body appears mostly as Hal's, but the right hand holds Kyr's sword, and the body becomes more muscular than Hal. The Void exoskeleton covers more of their body during this time, reaching up and cupping their face, and extending down their arms.



##Abilities

Passive - Perfect Synergy Hal'Kyr swap control at the player's command. This ability has a long (60 seconds) to moderate (26 seconds) cooldown, varying by level (62 seconds – 2 seconds per level). The switch takes .75 seconds, during which time they cannot attack or use abilities, but can move with +45 movement speed.


Q - Shadow Blast/Shade Hal calls up darkness in the area. Range: 800 units Area: 450 units Damage: 30/40/50/60/70 (+25% AP) (+10% bonus AD) magic damage initially, then double after a delay Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds Duration: 1.5 seconds Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana Effect: Deals damage and slows for 20/25/30/35/40% in an area, then damages again after 1.5 seconds, slowing all enemies struck by the second iteration by 40/50/60/70/80% for 2 seconds.

Kyr pulls shadows around herself. Range: Melee Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds after the effect wears off Duration: 5/6/7/8/9 seconds Effect: Grants camouflage for the duration or until Kyr attacks, casts another spell, or swaps out to Hal. When an enemy champion comes within 300/350/400/450/500 (+5% AP) (+10% AD) units, they are afflicted with the nearsight debuff (see Graves' Smoke Screen).


W - Mind Veil/Feint Hal launches a bolt that travels through minions and stops on the first champion hit. Range: 750 units Speed: 1400 Damage: 40/50/60/70/80 (+60% AP) (+20% AD) magic damage Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Duration: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 mana Effect: Damages and silences the first champion hit, and deals damage to minions it passes through.

Kyr dashes forward and quickly slashes in an arc toward the nearest enemy champion, then attacks directly for increased damage. Range: Dashes 500 units, attacks in an arc with 400 range. Speed: The dash has a speed of 1100, the swing is completed in .3 seconds. Damage: 60/80/100/120/140 (+40% AP) (+80% AD) physical damage, empowered attack deals 110/120/130/140/150% (+10% AP) (+25% bonus AD) physical damage. Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds Duration: The attack is primed for 3 seconds Effect: Swings in a 90° arc toward the nearest enemy champion within 400 units, but stops before hitting. The enhanced auto-attack can be used immediately if the target is in range. If no enemy champion is nearby, the swing arc is 360° but no empowered auto attack is given.


E - Conversion Hal'Kyr gain Attack Damage and Ability Power based on the amount of the alternate stat. Passive: 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% of AD is given as AP, and 5/5.25/5.5/5.75/6% of AP is given as AD (does not stack) Active: The passive is disabled, and 40/50/60/70/80% of AD is given as AP, and 20/22/24/26/28% of AP is given as AD (does not stack) Cooldown: 25 seconds at all ranks Duration: 5/6/7/8/9 seconds, the passive remains disabled for 5/4/3/2/1 seconds after the active wears off.


R - Recombination Hal'Kyr join together temporarily. Cooldown: 140/130/120 seconds Duration: 25 seconds Effect: All abilities grant both effects for the duration. Hal'Kyr become resource-less for the duration. Hal's ranged attacks deal magic damage for the duration, and Kyr attacks when at melee range. They have Hal's Magic Resist and Kyr's Health, Armor, and Movement Speed.

The idea here is that Hal is more innocent, maybe less corrupted by the Void, but also reliant on Kyr. Hal's voice would maybe sound less "rough" and "Void-y". Might update again.

They are great , but i guess riot wont make another Double Character champion for while now since Xayah&Rakan - Kindred - Kayn&Rhaast have just came out

Update: Day 3: Still waiting on the feedback. Not much food left. Maybe some edits would let me do some foraging later, but I can't think of any jokes. This might be my last stand.
