Community Creations - Voting System For Possible Future Designs From The Community?

If this happens to be in the wrong forums category, please let me know! I personally see it as being able to fit into multiple categories, and put it into the "Concepts & Creations" area as it has to do heavily with community concepts and creations.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Riot hosted a contest of some sorts where some riot employees take a look at the community created champions or skins, taking the top 3 or 4 or something and hosting a contest where the community can vote on which of those they wanted in the game?

With that in mind, of course there would likely be problems with the content creators themselves, and also with the riot design team. Anywho, to help solve this for the community content creators, they could maybe get 1k rp after the champion/skin is released, and maybe get that champion and skin on the release for free. Personally, I think this would be an interesting idea. With this in mind, if the design team decided that they don't like the way the design feels, or if the character seems a bit overbearing (as on paper some things don't seem nearly as good as they actually are), they can always just notify the community and tell them that the skin/champion that won the community vote will not be made, in which case they could always go with the second highest voted creation if they wanted.

Obviously a contest like this isnt likely to happen, but if it were to happen, they could host that maybe once every year if not a longer gap. Personally, I think this would be an amazing idea, but of course there are likely to be other problems with this. Obviously permission from the content creators would be needed, in that case, if the Riot team found a skin concept or character concept that they like, they can always have a representative message the creator, and see if they would enjoy, or would be fine with their content possibly being in the game, and going into a community vote.

Anyway, if we can get a small discussion of sorts in the comments (or even upvote/downvote this) and we can see if this would be something the community would be happen with, and if the people of Riot Games would be happy with, or would like to be seen.
