Alenda, the Beta Wolf [CCC]
Alenda is a sniper that specializes in keeping her distance. However, when push comes to shove, her ancestry takes over--shifting her into a melee wolf state, in which she is capable of fighting close up enemies.
Her Control, which restores over time-- when it fully replenishes she becomes Human and when it fully depletes she becomes a Wolf--is critical to playing her well.
Deciding to unload all your abilities so you can deal more damage and get out through Grapple before you fall? Sure!
Or perhaps you'd rather stay far, far away, and only enter Wolf state when you're going in for a kill.

#Lore
It wasn't too long ago, at least not from the time I first wrote this down.
It's really been years since my family had to leave me.
War-torn, our city quickly became nothing but a wreckage-- Mother guided the pups away, but I guess she forgot to come back for me.
I survived. I stayed in that destroyed city, liberating it a few feet at a time, steadily taking ground for my friends and even those I hated to escape.
Nobody deserves death, though; so I felt obligated to save them.
After all...
Nobody else was ready.
#I'm always ready.
My mother told me many things, but the most important of them was that. To never be caught off guard is to show an impervious front.
As a tactician, she led many regiments to victory-- and interestingly her favorite tactic was the idea of the squad pack.
A small group, three to six in size, that all knew one another intimately-- people that had literally been born and raised alongside one another, knowing every strength and weakness. Then led by a tactician, somebody who also knew those others well.
I failed my duty as tactician. I charged recklessly--I abandoned my pack--I left behind safety--I discarded my biggest hope-- and just attacked.
How could I not? Those things... They were cruel. I let my emotions get the better of me.
But I got the better of all of them.
I am the Wolf's daughter. I am not the grandmaster tactician that she was. I am not the physical master that she was. I am not so well able to assess enemies.
#I am a girl that lost all sense of control.
And everybody knows it. And nobody questions me when I decide to attack.
I'm alone-- but I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope the others are all right; but... I don't want to see them. I wouldn't be able to live it down.
With my bow and fangs, I will create a new hope. One that shines at least as bright as our old team!

#Innate Passive: Buried Instinct
- Alenda's basic abilities in human state all cause her to lose one of her 4 Control stacks. Upon hitting 0 stacks, Alenda transforms into a wolf, replacing some of her abilities. If Alenda does not cast any basic abilities for 8 seconds, she regenerates a stack of Control. In wolf form, Alenda generates a stack after not casting any basic abilities for 5 seconds. Alenda does not revert to human state until she has all of her Control stacks.
- In Human Form, Alenda has 550 Attack Range and is a Ranged Champion.
- In Wolf Form, Alenda gains 8% increased Health (like Gnar, she retains her current % of HP when detransforming) and 10 Movement Speed.
#Ability One: Sharpshoot / Gale
- Sharpshoot Alenda draws back an arrow, reducing her Movement Speed by 60% in order to triple the damage and range of Sharpshoot over 5 seconds. Alenda can hold the arrow once it's fully taut for 4 seconds. During this time, Alenda cannot attack, and casting any ability (other than Sidestep) causes her to break the channel.
- Alenda fires her arrow, dealing of 10/25/40/55/70 (+50/55/60/65/70% Total AD) Physical Damage, which is reduced by 20% each time it hits an enemy. [Maximum of 30/75/120/165/210 (+150/165/180/195/210% Total AD) Physical Damage]
Projectile Speed: 1500 600 base range (1800 fully charged range) 5 second cooldown from release Costs 60 Mana
-
- Sharpshoot counts as though an ability has been cast until you release it (so if you press Q, charge it up fully and let it 'die' (8 seconds), you have to wait more 8 seconds to get a Control stack).
-
- This is Alenda's main move and is, really, her favorite. It's a snipe... but you have to mind yourself a lot if you want to be successful with it. It is not something you use as you please-- this is why I feel such a low cooldown on it is okay.
-
Gale Alenda slams her paws into the ground, dealing 30/55/80/105/130 (+100% Total AD) Physical Damage to all enemies within 300 range, gaining a stack of Gale for 6 seconds for each enemy hit. Champions and Large Monsters grant 4 stacks instead.
3 second cooldown Costs 20 Mana
#Ability Two: Grapple
- Grapple Alenda throws a grappling hook to the target location.
- Reactivating this ability pulls the grappling hook towards Alenda. If the hook hits or was next to a wall, Alenda is pulled 500 units towards that wall. If an enemy is hit by the hook, they are pulled 200 units closer to Alenda and are rooted for 0.5 seconds, taking 60/120/180/240/300 (+100% AP) Magic Damage.
- In Wolf form, Alenda is pulled 400 units towards the enemy as well.
- If Grapple is placed on the other side of a wall from where Alenda is, she is pulled through the wall.
Projectile Speed: 1000 725 range 15/14.5/14/13.5/13 second cooldown from pulling of hook 2.5 second minimum reactivation delay Costs 75 Mana
#Ability Three: Shift Bomb / Hurricane
- Alenda creates a spherical bomb at the target location, which lasts for 6 seconds. During this time, Alenda may recast Shift Bomb order it to roll towards the target location. At the end of the duration, when the object is within 100 range of a Champion, or when it hits a wall or creep, it explodes, dealing 70/120/170/220/270 (+75% AP) Magic Damage to all enemies within ~140 range [large enough to hit all the melee or caster minions, but not by too much].
Ring-ball moves at 600 speed. 600 placement range 18/17/16/15/14 second cooldown from placement Costs 60/70/80/90/100 Mana
- Hurricane Alenda unleashes a cone of wind in the target direction, knocking up all enemies in the area for 0.5 seconds, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+60% Total AD) Physical Damage, and hasting Alenda by 2/2.5/3/3.5/4% per stack of Gale that she had when Hurricane was cast. This haste lasts for 4 seconds.
10/9.25/8.5/7.75/7 second cooldown Costs 35 Mana
#Ultimate Ability: Sidestep
- Alenda leaps 250 units to either of her sides. This ability can be cast during any other actions (including Sharpshoot).
- In Wolf form, this ability has 500 range, can go in any direction, and deals 70/110/150 (+40% Total AD) Physical Damage to any enemies near the line dashed. This cannot go over terrain.
- Additionally, the cooldown of Sidestep is reduced by 0.33 seconds per Gale stack if you damage an enemy.
1000 dash speed 8/7/6 second cooldown Costs 30 Mana

Skipped due to time constraints. Most of these explain themselves, though. Think Okami / Okamiden if you can-- that's what I visualize as their rough appearances.
Alenda human state is visible on this page, though you'll need to extrapolate the appearance because this is a sketch--I literally don't have access to better art at the moment, and this just needs to be done. http://i.imgur.com/H3bKZu0.jpg

#Additional
This new year, Alenda plans to [written from her perspective, to herself]:
- Derive more efficient manufacturing of explosive materials.
- Improve the stringing of Mother's old bow to increase shot range.
- Get a fancy outfit. Warclothes are always acceptable, but...
- Don't lose another friend.
- Don't make any new friends.
- If you're forced to make friends, make sure they know your habits.
