I'm super angry about Kayn

you know how kayn turns super blue for the shadow assassin form and rather red for the darkin form his release skin makes his shadow assassin form be red

now, this doesn't bug me at all. it confused me for a moment because i didn't know that. Why this angers me is because they said that AHRI'S FREAKING HOSHI NO TAMA THE LITTLE FROBBING BALL has to STAY BLUE when her passive is not up BECAUSE OF GAMEPLAY CLARITY. ????????????????????????????????? screw off riot give me my not-blue hoshi no tama;

or subject kayn to the same treatment

What? You expect Ahri to NOT be related to blue balls?

It's almost like opinions change after literally 4-5 years. When was Firefox Ahri released and people did an outcry about this?..... 11 Jul 2012, damn literally 5 years. Since then we got Popstar Ahri that also changed her orb, while Academy is a 750 RP skin.

Have to agree that this comparison is odd. There are many things which can indicate gameplay elements. Kayn isn't just differentiated by colour, the whole appearance changes and therefore it is obvious which form he is in.

Stuff like Urgots shotgunknees can change in colour since the difference is lighted up or not, the colour doesn't matter.

But since the colour is the only indicator for Ahris passive, it's a different thing.

Kayn has an entire silhouette that follows him, and to be identified by. Even if not the same color, you can see by his bulk or outline which one he is. Ahri's ball silhouette doesn't discern which part of the passive is on, so the color is the main factor between em.

This comparison is dumb.

It's an interesting demand. If you're really concerned about this though, why not try being a little more respectful and have a better articulated argument for it. Otherwise your concern will likely just get swept under a rug as either trolling or flaming.

That being said I was unaware the skin creates this situation as I don't own the skin. Does the Daarkan mode also turn red or does it have a different color? If both forms are red on the skin then it does become a slight gameplay issue as it will be difficult to discern what form he is in without being distracted from what you need to focus on.

To me this isn't a big problem, Shadow assassin and Darkin do have different models and also on how they walk. I am sure people will be able to notice.

The difference is one is a skin, and after you learn who that skin is, clarity doesnt really matter anymore. However Ahris blue baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalls is more of a gameplay clarification.

You can always look at the portrait, y'know. Besides, it's pretty obvious which is which, considering the giant horns that the Darkin form has. The color shouldn't have much bearing on it.
