(gamemode concept) Base Defense
Hello and happy holidays! I was discussing with my friend during a bot match how funny it was watching the super minions kill the bots. It evolved into a deeper, more fun idea.
What if there was a gamemode where you could fight waves of enemies, defending your base until you couldn't anymore. The highscores could be posted and it could be a "how long can you survive" thing. There would be no max level, such as in urf, so you would continue gaining stats as you level up. There would be no max stats (except crit strike) or inventory slots, so you could buy to your hearts content if you make it that far. Eventually, instead of standard minion waves, you would find champion waves, where you would have to fight against a, say, intermediate level-4 ashe, or something. The rounds would be set but with variability. For example, the champion waves start at a certain level and super minion waves are at certain levels. Now this could cause lag if minions get spammed, so what if instead it just sends the same amount of minions, but they level up twice as fast as in the normal game. This could be on a map like howling abyss, so you all have to fight together. And instead of having the thing where you can only go back when you die, you can only go back inbetween waves. There could be a timer between waves so you only have so long to buy. If you die in a wave you have to wait until the next wave to spawn. If your whole team dies ya'll lose. Or, if they kill your nexus you lose.
I don't know bout ya'll but I think that Base Defense would be a fun game mode! Thumbsup if you want it! We gotta make this popular.
EDIT: Occams Raiser said something I was thinking. Having upgradeable minions or turrets that fight for you. As well, of my own mind, you could heal the turrets for gold. I was thinking instead of upgradeable minions, or minions at all, it would work like brawlers with a couple types of minions and you can buy minion waves instead of having your own that spawn normally. And if it is in a howling-abyss-like map then you don't have to worry about the different lanes and every works together against the first starter wave and they take minion damage, since they won't have their own minions. Hell, minions at level 1 are terrible to solo.
: We will live, they will die. (Nasus can finally get max stacks on his q :D)
