Legion, the Army of the Damned [Champion Concept]

Throughout the ages, there have been countless battles. Countless enemies and allies slain alike. None know this more than the Legion. With each and every death in war, the Legion grows stronger.

The Legion hungers for battle and feasts on the lost souls of war. The blood spilled fills him with a ferocity unlike any other. The more lives he takes, the more that join the Legion. The Legion's swift and deft strokes of his twin swords seem to suggest that it even absorbs the skill of the warriors fallen in battle. The Legion fights with such an untold animosity that storytellers speculate its actual existence. But the Legion is very real. The Legion is coming. And the Legion will overrun them all.

Passive: Army of the Damned the Legion always has lost soldiers at his side to aid him in battle. These soldiers have 100/120/140/150 hp and can die and grant 10 gold upon being slain. they respawn on Legion's position after 10 seconds of being dead. The soldiers always attack Legion's targets unless controlled with alt to do otherwise. They scale with each level of his ultimate. When the soldiers are away from Legion for too long, they teleport next to him. Soldiers deal 10/15/20/25 damage.(+.2AD) Soldiers have 60% of the attack and movespeed of Legion. Soldiers have 80% of the Armor/MR of Legion Only two soldiers are active from the passive Victory Rush Passive: After slaying an enemy, Legion and his soldiers gain a rush of movespeed and attack speed for 1 second. Active: Legion charges at an enemy in range, dealing damage and resetting his attack timer. 20/30/40/50/60 Damage (+.2AD)

Remorseless Legion strikes an enemy's weak point, dealing true damage, applying a slow and reducing their defenses by a percentage for a short period of time. Melee range. 40/45/50/55/60(.4AD) damage with 4/6/8/10/12% armor/magic resist reduction

Timely Reinforcements Legion summons a third, more powerful but slower moving soldier for a short period of time. While the empowered soldier is alive, Legion and his minor soldiers have increased damage and attack speed. 5/10/15/20/25 Ad/%AS temporarily.(The super soldier does not receive these aura bonuses) Super Soldier does 40/50/60/70/80(+.4AD) damage and has 50/100/150/200/250(+.5AD) bonus health. Lasts 10 Seconds

Brothers In Arms Legion's Soldiers all become clones of Legion and grant the primary Legion bonus stats for a limited duration based on how many soliders are alive around him. Clones deal (80/90/100%) of Legion's damage. They take (300%/200%/100%) of normal damage. While active, the aura from Timely Reinforcements is applied to all instances of Legion. +50/100/200 hp per soldier alive +25/40/60 Shield per soldier alive +3/6/9 Armor/MR per soldier alive +10/20/30 AD per soldier alive. Lasts 3/4/5 seconds.

Tell me what you guys think :D

Be interesting to see a concept drawing. Its not bad for a rough idea but some questions that immediately came to mind were how many soldiers could spawn at a given time? Would you class this champion as a Fighter? A Tank? Other than that, the zombie concept is kinda cool. :)

any suggestions or comments? :D I'm pretty open for criticism.

2 free bonus "wards" from his passive is pretty broken.

I do like the idea and all that, but i have questions. What is the attack power and speed of the lost soldiers? Would on-hit items work with them also?

This champion is based solely on idea of his passive. Rest is impossibly boring. You have your cute, little pet that deals damage (passive), than you have your Q which is simple dash, W is the simplest idea of buffed slow, as for example Darius W. E creates another cute, little bit bigger pet that attacks an opponent. Where's the fun? Where's some kind of possibilities? Is there anything, and i mean ANYTHING, that Legion can do in teamfight instead of just casting all his skills in whatever order? And ultimate basically destroys both your passive and E, so you're getting a one-time dashing champion that can slow enemies (W) with boost stats. And that's it. Compare it with jax. Dash on Q, empowered autoattack on W, jax has uniqe mechanic on E (while Legion has another pet) and both are just boosting their stats on ultimate. Reconsider your idea, please.

hey dude! good job, it's seducing, original and seems funny to play !!!

Here my negative points:

**passive: How many soldiers can you have at the same time? Is it two, you mention a third for Timely Reinforcements! and What is their duration? Is there a CD for respawning?

give more details for his passive, written like that, it looks like an Ultimate (my own opinion !)

Ultimate: i think it is too op, you can not distinguish clones and Legion !!! Clones could have same stats, it is a good idea, but players should be able to distinguish Legion and his "brothers in Arms".

See you, enjoy the game and dont forget to have fun (IT'S A GAME !!!).

SO! A few pretty massive things you're missing in your champion concept...

  • You've got no concept description, how is he played, what is meant to be played as.
  • You've got no base stats.
  • Missing ranges on his abilities (this includes his abilities and the tether reset for his pets).
  • No cooldowns or mana costs or rage costs or any kind of resource.

Just some small things that make champion concepts a lot more readable and understandable from a design perspective.

Here are some design flaws that I'm looking at.

  • His Ultimate, Brothers In Arms, sounds incredibly overpowered. At level 6 with 3 zombies up (they sound like zombies, just going to call them zombies) he gains 90 AD, 27 MR, 27 Armor, A shield for 180, and 600 hp.

  • His Ultimate has a confusing interaction with Timely Reinforcements, IE: What if I ult and then use timely reinforcements, is it still a clone of Legion?

  • If his soldiers have 60% his movement speed then they will ALWAYS be behind him and it will be impossible for them to catch up to him as he walks to lane, basically he'll show up without them and then they'll teleport to him, which seems to not be the intended mechanic.

  • No range on his dash.

  • No clear slow time on his W (Remorseless) and 12% reduced MR/Armor on what I assume to be a pretty low cooldown is kind of broken. Also no timer on how long this debuff lasts.

  • His ultimate only lasts for 3/4/5 seconds, even though his ultimate is already ridiculous this seems like really little time for what its actually doing.

Suggestions

You need to figure out what you want this champion to be, you need to focus in on the unique thing that makes this champion special and you need to cut out everything else. His toolkit right now is just a broad range of generic abilities with minions instead of a specialized and unique toolkit. I'd suggest reworking him almost entirely after trying to distill exactly what you want him to be.

Changed up a few things...now I like the direction Legion is going in. Feels much more...like himself.

first, dude, we are not pro conceptor, maybe RIOT could also work !

Second, ratios and base stats, again we are not pro conceptor,, you can put some values for idea, but that is the job of RIOT, you know values, test the champ etc,etc ! Assess life, mana, basic damage CDs...= RIOT's job.
