Hello Everyone!!! i'm back with another Champion Concept!

now i know we just got Senna, a pretty bad ass lady. but i feel like we haven't gotten an actual bad ass, brutal warrior female character. i think the actual last warrior type female champion we got was: Illaoi (Granted she's more like a Monk, but whatever), we also have Kayle but she's more like a crusading angel demi-god. Riven kind of fits of what i'm thinking here, but....she's more like a rouge on the run that knows how to kick ass. so anyway, what i'm trying to get at, i would like to see Riot make another warrior type female character that's all about combat, relaying on nothing but strength and skill. no magic, or complicated gimmick, or anything that tries to make her 'fantasy-isc'. cause there's literally no champion in LOL, male or female, that make ME feel like i'm truly a skilled warrior using nothing but skills honed over years of training, or combat.

so, hopefully, today i can convey my latest Champion to make you feel, like you are a bad ass warrior. So here is: Tor, the Dauntless

her name Tro is Norwegian for 'Faith' (at least i hope my translation is correct). now as inspiration, Tor is being based of a Shield-Maiden, (Old Norse: skjaldmær) which in Scandinavian folklore and mythology was a female warrior. for an example, think Eowyn from the LOTR franchise. i guess you can also think of Leona, but she reads more Paladin than a Shield-Maiden to me. i think the proper distinction is that a Paladin uses holy magic along with warfare combat, while a Shield-Maiden is all about warfare combat. NOW!!! The character i'm trying to make here is a tall, strong-willed, sculpted woman who has been in many battles.

as for her Appearance: -her skin is fairly pale. -as for her hair, imagine a short mohawk that is swept over to the left side of her head, with a few bangs covering her eyes. -speaking of eyes, they are deep green. -on her forehead, Tor has a large scar that takes up most of his forehead, and just nicks her right eyebrow.

now as for clothing & armor, Tor wears typical Freljordian wear, which is thick leather and fur. she wears a heavy looking clothing, has large boots, and finally she wears a large fur cloak that has a bear head hanging on the back. now she does wear a chest plate, forearm & sheen guards, and has shoulder pauldrons. continuing on, for her equipment, Tor carries around two items: the first is her trade made straight sword, its thick and heavy, its basically a club in sword form. the 2nd item is a fairly big round shield, which almost covers her entire body when facing it.


Now as to Gameplay, Tor is a Top Lane Fighter in the Dueling/Brawling arch-type while being able to tank most damage, i suppose you could use her as a Jungler or as an off AD Support, but she's mainly for the Top Lane. she want's to engage the enemy, lock them in combat with her, and deal as much damage to said target while trying to emerge victorious. so her overall stats are built around this, she's bulky and hearty, so you would want to build HP/Defensive/and finally Attack Damage items to fuel her abilities. (Not really putting a stat page here, as it never really convey's or show how I view a champion, and it just confuses people)

Innate Passive: Battle Hearty. [when Tor engages an enemy Champion in Battle, she will ready herself for battle, raising her shield to reduce all damage she receives from that Champion by 5.5%, and every 10 seconds of being in Combat with an enemy Champion she will have a 75% chance to deal 100% Critical Damage. When Tor gets the Kill on enemy Champion she's engaged with, she will be empowered by the experience, and will gain 50 bonus Max Health]

the basic idea for this Passive is just simply something to aide her in combat, to help her go into a fight, deal damage while also mitigating damage. and as for a reward for winning, you get more free Max HP to help tank through future battles. now this Passive activates WHENEVER she get's into combat with an enemy Champion, wither she initiated or just joined. so there's no like, precise time when the passive can activate.

Note: -now i'm trying to portray that she is a pure physical fighter, with no magical or spiritual thing going on. so she will have no mana, but if this is an issue, i can implament a Mana Cost later on.

Q-Ability: Mighty Blow. Type: Self-Cast Buff. Cost: None. Cool Down: 14/13.5/13/12.5/12. Duration: 0.5/0.5/0.75/0.75/1. Physical Damage: 67/86/104/122/140(+75% bonus Attack Damage) Passive: [every 3rd Basic Attack will deal 2.5% of the target's remaining Max HP as bonus Physical Damage] Activate: [when Tor activates this Ability she will ready her next Basic Attack to strike with all of her strength. upon activation, Tor's next Basic Attack within the Abilities duration will deal Physical Damage. And if this enhanced Auto-Attack target's an enemy Champion that has a Shield, this enhanced Auto-Attack will automatically destroy it, but will not deal damage since it was used to destroy the Shield]

as most Q-Abilities this is the main Damage dealing Ability, and that is especially true for Tor as aside from this Ability, she has only 1 other damaging Ability. Now i think the overall Ability itself is pretty okay, Tor isn't that complicated, she's just a big battering ram, and i thought simple yet effective would work best. now as for the 'this Ability destroy's shields, at the cost of dealing no damage' was an interesting idea. i don't think there is an ability that totally destroys a shield in one go, so i hope this works out.

W-Ability: Close The Distance! Type: Dash. Range: 475. Cost: None. Cool Down: 22/20.5/18/16.5/14. Passive: [if an enemy Champion that is within 850-units of Tor, that she has Vision of, she will gain 30% Movement Speed when moving towards them] Activate: [when Tor has activated this Ability she will let loose a battle cry to rile herself up, then charge forward. after the Player has chosen the direction of a broad path with this Ability, then upon its activation, Tor will Dash in the targeted direction after a 0.25 second delay. while Dashing down the chosen path any enemy Minions, or non-Champion units, that Tor comes in contact with will be Knocked to the side of the path. while Dashing the 1st enemy Champion that Tor comes in contact with she will stop Dashing, Knock Back the enemy Champion 55-Units while also being Stunned for 0.5 seconds]

All Melee champions need someway to close the distance (granted not all have such a thing built into them) and this is how Tor closes in on enemies. the Passive is just there to give her that bit of extra speed to try and catch low Health target's, or close in on an enemy that maybe an ally is having trouble with. so try to use wards & allies to help you see enemies that Tor normally wouldn't be able to see, in order to charge forward. the Active part is what really allows Tor to close the distance, get it XD, and start a fight proper. HOWEVER, she can be CC'd out of this Dash, she's not invulnerable during it, so be careful in when you use this Ability.

E-Ability: Warriors Challenge. Type: Single Target/Point-Click/Taunt. Range: 390. Cost: None. Cool Down: 18.5/16/14.5/12/10.5. Duration: 0.75 seconds across all Lv's. Activate: [when Tor activates this Ability she will challenge a single enemy Champion to a 1-v-1 Duel. when casted, the affected enemy Champion will be Taunted for a duration, while Tor gains a 50% increase to Attack Speed for the full duration of the Taunt. if the enemy Champion under the effect of this Ability is Killed, then this Ability will only go on a 10 second Cool Down, as long as Tor is the one who Kills the affected target]

this Ability is what allows Tor to keep enemies engaged with her, so that she can fight them, and hopefully tries to kill them. however by itself, this Ability won't be enough to hinder your opponent's, so use other abilities to stall or inhibit them, or use your allies own CC to help Tor lock enemies down. the increased to her Attack Speed is to try and synergize it with Tor's Q-Ability, mainly with the Passive effect to widdle down the target's HP faster.

R-Ability (Ultimate): Rend Asunder! Type: Liner Skill-Shot. Range: 365. Cost: None. Cool Down: 92.5/74.5/57.5. Physical Damage: 244/366/488 (+55% bonus Attack Damage) Duration: 0.75 seconds across all Lv's. Passive: [if Tor gets the Kill on an enemy Champion with a Basic Attack, she will slam her sword into the ground at the point of death, and create a 285-radius shockwave that deals 15% of her current Attack Damage as Physical Damage to all surrounding enemies] Activate: [after Tor has chosen where she would attack next, she will swing down her sword with all of strength. after the player has chosen a narrow Path with this Ability, then activates it, Tor will slam her sword down in front of her dealing Physical Damage to all enemies along the Path. now if this Ability hits an enemy Champion anywhere among the Path, they will have their Movement Speed Slowed by 40%, and a 785-unit narrow path of fractured earth will be launched forward. any additional enemies that are hit by this path of fractured earth will be Knocked to either side & will be Slowed for the same amount, and for the same duration]

this Ult may not be flash, or seem all that exciting, but for one on one bouts, and clustered Team Fights, i think this Ability has what it takes to turn the tables around in Tor's favor. Now obviously it's pathetic short range is it's biggest down side, as the enemy literally has to be right in your face for it to work, but that's what Tor wants. she wants enemies directly in her face, her E & W allow her to do so on her own. now i'm sure someone is going to make a comparison to Braum and his ult, and yeah while the elongated path of fracture earth does act & look like it, only differences is that you need and enemy Champion to actually make the path, it doesn't stay on the Map like Braum's and can not re-apply the Slow.

Now as you can see, Tor's overall kit is fairly simple on the surface, and in structure. and that's the whole point, its simple, yet i comes together as an effective tool set to allow Tor to be a strong fighter. of course Tor will need help with Summoner Spells, Runes & Items.

Summoner Spell: summoner 12 or summoner 14.

Runes: Resolve -Grasp of the Undying or Aftershock -Demolish -Conditioning or Second Wind -Overgrowth

Domination -Cheap Shot -pick which ever one you like -Relentless Hunter

Items: Offense - item 3036/item 3046/item 3179. Defense - item 3068/item 3026/item 3194. Boots - item 3111 or item 3117. Utility - item 3153/item 3814/item 3193.
