Mastery 8, 9, 10 and Honor Ideas

Hey whats summoners my name is John I'm an older player (Season 1). I had an idea when I was at work. How about we make some higher rewards for mastery that are harder to obtain. This way we feel really good when we unlock them. But not just harder make them more honorable to obtain as well. Make it so you have to collect a specific ammount of honor and S or S+'s in a specific time. Almost like a quest. Maybe you can actually unlock a quest then activate it (only 1 champ at a time) then try to go collect your honor and S's over a certain time frame that is fair to both casuals and competitive player's.

I dont know anyone would feel about this I just thought it would be a fun interactive cross over between honor mastery and these new quests we have. Please let me what you think, and good luck out there with the climb guys.

But I feel good about my masteries now ;-; hahaha. its a cool idea, but i'd actually be a little sad.I worked reallly long to get my mastery 7s. [sg-soraka]

I know what your saying but it wouldnt take the achievemt of mastery 7 away its still equally as hard. But this allows for the ceiling to be raised alittle for people who really like a small champion pool and have a crazy ammount of time on a champion. Give people who have 1000's of games on one champ just a little bit more to brag about. At the same time it can encourage people to play with honor in mind just a bit more than we do now.

I'm not saying to make it takes hundreds of hours more. We've had mastery rank seven for awhile just raise the bar a bit.

I guess it could be kinda cool if you could get a mastery shard for a single token to obtain m8 or 9, and having it meet specific qualifications like, getting an S or higher playing with strangers. If three people honor you, in the same game, get a mastery shard. It would be a neat idea if they could incorporate your honor into that. Another incentive to not being a dick.

That actually would be really cool to get tokens or a shard as an honor drop.

Possibly, thats why I was asking for honest opinions. I just know some people are looking for a bit more of a challenge who have been at rank 7 for along while. I think mixing it with the honor system would be good for the comnunity as well.

I actually overlooked this, I have had every champ for about three years now so I guess i never thought about it. Maybe riot could make a seperate honor currency that you gain over all games you get the new mastery ranks. Idk, if thats possible but its an idea
